It pays moneylines on 7 inning games, just not totals or run lines

Some unknown Juco guy. Had one start vs Akron and did well. 7.0 innings 8 SO 0 BB. But it's Akron and this is Ole Miss. How do you even put a line out on that?

O shite. He retired 21 of 22 batters and pitched a complete game shutout (run rule)

They’d have to be the road team. And you probably won’t find a +9.5 home team anyways. If a road team is +9.5 the longest a run rule game could go is 8 innings. Which is less than the required 8.5.

Stick to ML bets in the SEC this year so you don't get your run line and total bets voided. Blowouts happen all the time

This has been brought up multiple times before because we keep winning by mercy rule.

When there is a large run line spread the best play is to bet on the opponent run line in every game because if you lose, the bet is just going to get voided anyway.

what if it's 8-0 after 7 innings and it's 12-0 after 9 innings?

Then +10 is a winner

Unless the line is +6.5 and LSU wins by 7, 8, or 9

It’s the gayest thing on earth. So goddamn stupid that we’re even playing these mercy rule games but the DK rule is fricking retarded. They just started doing it a week ago. If I take LSU -6.5 and we win by 12 in 7 innings I should win my bet because I obviously made a good one. frick them.

It's complete BS honestly. It should be how the game result is officially scored. I got hosed yesterday too.

Same thing happened to me against Butler, I think it was Butler.. I argued with them that the SEC just implimeted a 10 run rule after 7 and this would would put every bet on every SEC game jeapordy. They basically said tough..You have to play 9...
but get this. They paid me last night anyway. Go figure.

But here's the kicker...because the game didn't go a full 9 innings, my bet was voided. So because we kicked their shite in so hard, I lost my win.

Way more likely and better odds LSU wins a game by 1-6 or 10+ in a mercy rule or loses than winning by exactly 7, 8 or 9 runs.

Update:

I reached out to my DK concierge (not a humble brag, I'm just a degenerate so they assigned me a VIP concierge) and he agreed it was a silly rule and he credited me for my win. I'm not sure if anyone else would have as much luck reaching out. I'm just fortunate enough to have a direct line to someone.

Having said that, a friend of mine did also reach out to support and was given a free bet for the same amount that he bet. So if you're in a similar situation and you take the time to reach out, it could be worth your time.

How much have you lost on sports betting in total?

Nothing crazy. I'm actually up a couple grand this year, but lost a few grand last year. I bet fairly heavy, but seem to never get too far ahead or behind. No ragrets!
