I’m just curious, when the men get into a lil skirmish, why we don’t hear ish like it’s a bad look for all men’s college basketball? But when the women get a lil heated in a championship game who were the two best teams in the SEC it’s a bad look for all women’s college basketball. Stupid me, I actually thought we got past all that crap last year when Angel went through all those nasty disrespectful attacks. And by the way, some of the fault lies at the feet of the refs because the more they ignored calls you saw the frustrations boiling over. And usually Kamilla Cardoso bully other bigs but Angel wasn’t having none of that, when she pushed Angel, Angel pushed back. But why is it such a bad look? To me it was just two extremely competitive teams going after a championship, besides if they were to met in the tourney just imagine the headlines.

The liberal media must have their narrative, facts be damned.

Bruhhhh it’s not always about this. Let us middle of the road non left or right extremists just bitch about normal stuff.

Back on topic. Agree with OP, but I love how Mulkey pissed the media off with her stance. We all know Angel would have dominated that fight. Time to run it back with Poa next time.

WBB is a political sport. It was drug into the mainstream for narrative reasons. Every "big issue" that pops up with it is political. ESPN covers it with a political slant. Majority of the time it makes news it's something political or someone "making a statement" or some shite.

It's the nature of the beast. It's a sport dominated by lesbians and women which attracts drama. It's drummed up by feminists that wanna insert their worldview into everything.

I havent paid attention to national media but have seen a lot of SEC coverage. Not sure who is saying this is bad for women's basketball. To me we are just argueing over who's players are thug counts like we would in a football player fight...

Driving home listening to 104.5 ESPN Chuck Oliver show (which is about football) they talked for a second about the game. It was said that they perfer the football refs over the refs who handled the game. I was somewhat stunned it was even mentioned, but it drives home that the refs let this game get out of hand.

Same reason we stand to piss and they sit. Some things are just different for men and women.

Ordinarily I would agree with you.

But CKM got lambasted for not commenting on the dude that was locked up in Russia. Meanwhile Dawn Racist Staley pulled this bullshite:

Guess which one gets her arse kissed by the press?

Huh? Filipowski’s deal caused quite the media narrative about court stormings. When Will Wade and Bob Marlin got into it in 2018, it was asked about here locally in the postgame.

When juwan howard got into it postgame with the wisconsin coaches, it was bantered about afterward for days.

Same with the de sousa fight with kansas 4 years ago. You have a selective memory
