Stingley has already turned down 7 once.
And to get 18 there’s a process, a committee and a lot of intangibles that come into play. Outsiders don’t really know who is who inside the locker room, weight room and off the field.

Jacoby would have been a good fit for 18, but I’m glad to see him wearing 7. Pretty sure Sting’s plan is to have future players vying for 24

Look I like the tradition and it's an LSU football thing.... not a fan thing!! Anyone want to start awarding a #00 jersey to the top RANT POSTER... knock yourself out. But for the football team... just let them do their own thing when awarding numbers that they view as a tradition.

Who cares! This number 7 & 18 is childish. Its just a number. See how it failed with the WR transfer from Tx Tech 2 years ago as well as Delpit last year.
