Yep. That's what I thought, too. I watched that play about 5 times, everytime I look at it ... Boutte took several steps wide open before the ball got to him.
so ...... does people not understand what is meant by "throw a receiver open"?
Now, in that play, Boutte was not the first read -- JD looked at the wide out, then came back to Boutte over the middle. But ..... that was most definitely NOT an example of throwing a receiver open.

Well i kind of want to see multiple thousand yard receivers and under JD dont have that and i kind of want to see a thousand yard rb rusher and Under JD dont have that and i kind of want to see the qb not getting sacked 40 plus times a game and under JD dont have that. JD got sacked a whopping 40 plus times a game the last 2 yrs he started so its a common thing under JD but the question is are You Really That Slow????

Wellllllllll Nuss certainly isn’t Burreaux. He’s got potential, but just because he made a fewplays in a blowout loss to UGA is not enough to push Daniels out the door. Remember, LSU does NOT beat Bama without Daniels, and I doubt they beat Old Miss or Flawduhh without him.

He won’t make any teams top two QB’s as he is as a player now. He can’t go pro and make the big bucks. His best shot is to stay and pray he is better than the other two on the roster.

That was a late ball, my dude. Boutte was well into his route by the time Daniels found him and he slowed down to catch it. Aka, it was a fantastic run by the receiver after the catch.

JD got better as the season went on whether people admit it or not. After his injury, he was not the same QB. Nuss turnover ratio is about as bad as Lee. People say JD can’t win us a championship. Go find a team with a QB that turns the ball over every game that wins championships.
