frick the SEC
It just means more?
It means nothing to me.
I do not give a damn about the conference nor any of the other members.
Sure, the money is nice, but I'll be more happy if no other SEC team (not named LSU) ever wins again
NCAA can suck it too.
That is why I am all in on players that just add depth. Though, some were all-sec, so they aren't bums
Better hope any legislation enacted includes language that NCAA can not go after any member institutions for alleged transgressions pre-dating the legislation, but those chodes will try to make an example out of LSU specifically

All of the above is categorically false. Multiple courts in at least 10 states have similar cases.

They always have tried to make an example out of LSU.
I think Verge is personally about this.
Think about this. Bill Self… no punishment even though he is on wire tap doing the EXACT or worse thing than Will Wade. This is about someone finally telling the NCAA and SEC to play fair because we have receipts.

I’m over it as well. LSU followed the law, SEC didn’t let them.
Any damages that come from it, SEC will be a party to it by enforcing damages on LSU for following the law.

Agreed. Seems like the limit was pushed, point was made. If they back off now and let the others fight, then that should minimize the questions about it for LSU throughout the season. Too much drama for one year of a few players. Especially this close to the season.

Here’s a hypothetical/ thought experiment - If Chambliss had transferred to LSU and was granted his injunction and the NCAA was denied appeal in a Louisiana court, would we still be sweating it right now whether or not our QB would be eligible for 2026? Something tells me the SEC would have tried to step in over that as well.

Nothing will happen until the 31st (if that hearing even happens that day).

The NCAA is doing this on purpose to cause as much of a distraction as possible and stir up the media so that Congress steps in and makes rules
