They won’t be contenders. Lots of talent but they are not being coached well.

I know you’re stupid, but there a difference between contending and playing in a championship series. Do you think making it to omaha isnt contending?

Oh did he mean one of the final two teams left? I thought if you made the regionals then you have a chance at a national title. We’ve been to the championship series more than most teams in the last decade.

The reality is LSU baseball should be much like Alabama is in football currently.
We constantly recruit top 5 classes have great facilities, a tradition and great fan base.
I completely understand that the parody in base ball is slimming each season.
LSU is getting better players and not developing them.

Baseball recruiting rankings are not an exact science. There’s a lot of good baseball players out there. LSU can’t and doesn’t get all the good ones.
Kind of remains to be seen. Eddie Smith seems to be an improvement. We will see if it carries over into SEC play.

I’m in the “who cares” camp. I only tune in if they are entertaining, and I haven’t tuned in in a while. It’s a game, not life or death, so put an entertaining product on the field.
