Look I was as pissed as anyone after the game But, listen to what the man said. Believe it or not he knew how long it would take to get the FG team on the field, He agreed he should have veto'd Crowtons pass calls and explained the pointing at the ground that everyone is saying was him calling the " clock-it"

How many fricking woulda-coulda-shoulda's is one guy going to get a pass for in a 30 second span?

Exactly. It's funny reading these posts. I am telling you right now, this is how Jim Jones got them to drink the Flavor Aid.

you know what the op is right. its probably not nice to call a retard a liar. leslie just doesn't know any better. shame on us for expecting him to not panic and actually have plans in place like every other coach in america. How do we make the mistake of forgetting leslie gets a pass for everything he does bc of special needs

I don't make 4 million a year and I have to tell my boss when I make a mistake. If you do make 4 million a year, you better come clean with everything that you do that is wrong. He needs to apologize to the fans, players, and coaches for his mistakes.

Yes, of course.

quote:

he booth said OM had 12 on D and they were trying to get a snap off to catch them, Miles didn't call the clock it!

He had over 40 hours to concoct this story. Can the people in the booth not count?

quote:

I have. And he is an idiot. He is in-coherent at best and allowed for the same play to be called after it didn't work the first time (2 point conversion) and didn't give his "authority" to run it, when Jefferson was sacked. And where was our highest sought after recruit who publicly advocates and promotes LSU? Oh, he was on the sidelines next to Miles for the 2 point conversion.

quote:

Believe it or not he knew how long it would take to get the FG team on the field,

Yes, he said it would take nearly 30 seconds. A reporter commented that he had 27 seconds and the buffoon said something along the lines that he would be surprised if so ... and this was after every person in the room were to be held accountable ... he still didn't know how much time he actually had left between plays.

He's a coach that is in over his head. For Christ's sake, he asked a police officer at the end of the game if he had a timeout remaining.

But then again, the players had "a want" for more time on the clock.

Most people wouldn't be able to put in the work required to get to a $4mil position.

this part amazed me and clearly shows that leslie is either a liar or just plain retarded. If you watched fricking film how do you not know that you had time?

some of the leslie followers could walk in on leslie banging their daughter and he would say he wasn't and they would believe it.

I guess some of you guys would do a better job? Watching the game from you favorite recliner and calling plays is pretty easy, But it doesn't pay 3.8 million dollars a year for a reason. The man doesn't always come across as the smartest, Hell he may even be a idiot! He is our idiot for at least another year so suck it up and support our Tigers!

simple mistakes that every good coaches make. you always see saban, meyer, stoops, petey, mac brown looking to their security for help on how much time is left and time outs.

les has less of a clue than bobby bowden does

Or, how he did not have a 2nd play called after he thought he signaled timeout and let the clock run down ...

In other words, throw up a hail mary, even though he knew Jefferson could not reach the end zone and that's it ... the coaching staff wasn't expecting Tolliver to catch it ... and thus the confusion ...

They simply didn't plan ahead, which is inexcusable, because Miles said he lost track of time, when he didn't get the timeout called ... because he was thinking of the next play ... funny how you can think about the next play, but can't call 2 plays in a timeout.

You can't talk sense to these rantards. The game and cauble and wbrz still has em all frothy and shite about les's so-called lie. The whole lie thing is outrageous and i bet if there wasnt so many on here jumping at this and the number was instead remotely manageable les would offer to whip their arse individually.

As it stands however, there is an army of them.have to gas them or hit em with that microwave ray or something.

You people!

We're not the head coach of any university and we aren't paid so, accordingly.

No doubt, it's harder than any of us could imagine, but I'd venture to say that ANY one of us would have been aware of the clock situation.

Lester didn't even have anyone designated on the sidelines, such as an assistant, keeping an eye on the clock or timeout situation. Poor planning, poor discipline and poor execution.

Hell he may even be a idiot!

Indeed, he is.

I'll always support LSU, but I won't support that clown we have for a coach.

I'd be willing to bet your average HS football coach would have not taken his team out of fg range, would have made sure a timeout was called, and would have gotten his fg unit out on the field
