You don’t think college football is political?

We found the Democrat.

(This might be TLDR for some so just issuing that warning lol)

Well i'm a democrat as well but this has zero to do with that level of politics when there are other presidents of other schools, who are Republican by the way, wanting to punish LSU. This is all about power and wanting to show they can govern the conference by themselves because the NCAA no longer has teeth to do anything.

There's nothing wrong with that, but the problem I have with it is the consistency of the punishments. Picking and choosing what you want to fight on is where I have an issue. When Charles Bediako sought and granted a TRO to play at Alabama after playing in the G-League (which is an extension of a pro team), Sankey didn't like it, but he followed court order. He played five games during this time. Not once did the SEC issue a rule change or strengthen their stance on amateur athletic eligibility or did the presidents and chancellors meet to do so. Nor did they threaten punishment or expulsion to Alabama. The courts failed to issue an injunction to Bediako which made him ineligible. Not to mention the countless other TROs granted and followed.

Fast forward to this situation and it's now all hands on deck, setting a narrative (while agreeable) doesn't pertain to the situation at hand. Trying to make an example out of people due to personal feelings about things people say publicly and embarassed by others so they're pulling the "I'm going to show you who's boss" move to prove how "big and bad" you are. Plowman isn't the only problem there. It's Sankey and the countless others sitting in their glass houses pointing the attention to us because despite their "faults", in their eyes, we've disrupted this faux persona of being a "united" conference. We're not supposed to fight in public; only in private. And they don't like Kiffin, and how he pushes (challenges) the status quo. And now you combine the two together and now in their eyes, we're the "problem".

There are always politics involved naturally, but it has more to do with Sankey and what he's trying to do. Because trust me, it's not just Plowman spewing her bullshite publicly.

Well you're an idiot because I actually agreed with you to some extent about Plowman. Don't be so quick to assume that all liberals have the same viewpoints on things. Some people (in general) can see both sides of argument and give an opinion.

Motherfrickers can't handle being called out.

Just like my thread being anchored discussing this all being political.

Because that's all it is. Lawfare from the leftist progressives running the other schools.

Beats the current GOP (Group Of PDFiles)

Denying it at this point tells us more about you than it dies them. We KNOW what they are. They’ve all but admitted it. To further support them knowing this just brings about suspicion in yourself. Are you one too? Maybe that’s something the new DOJ should look into in 2029.

No just ignorance on both sides. Some people are all about being right instead of looking at both sides of a situation and gathering logical thoughts and opinions. Just like you automatically being dismissive of my opinions (despite actually agreeing with you on certain aspects of the discussion) because of who I vote for. I didn't automatically dismiss you and yours.

No children, but I am safe; open carry here. I take care of myself. And it's funny how people took a few words to judge me but failed to actually read and see that I agreed with the majority of what was said.

As some others have already said, politics is brought up way too much here. And it is ALWAYS the rightwingers who do it. That is a fact!

Let me give you an alternative reason why Tennessee is the one leading the charge which I DO believe. I visited some cousins around the Knoxville area back in May. BTW, they grew up in LA and ARE LSU fans but they also root for Tennessee now. When Lane Kiffin leaving Ole Miss came up, they STILL can't go over the way he left Tennessee at midnight to take the USC job.

So instead of some obtuse political conspiracy theory, let me tell you the **REAL reason ** that Tennessee has been leading the charge. It is Lane Kiffin and the fact that Tennessee fans can NEVER get over the way he left Tennessee. And his departure from there was 17 years ago.

I wonder if Plowman (lol) follows Alinsky’s teachings?

“ The use of common enemy against a community was another theme of Rules for Radicals, as a uniting element in communities.[8]

Alinsky would find an external antagonist to turn into a "common enemy" for the community within which he was operating. Often, this would be a local politician or agency that had some involvement with activity concerning the community.”

Don’t even go there. You had the information for 4 years and did absolutely nothing with it. Blaming this on the GOP is as dumb as the SEC trying to kick LSU out of the conference
