We actually have lots of guys like this in the 2018 class at their position. Baskerville was another guy who is extremly well coached and is tough. Just a bunch of tough football players that I think can be the foundation of this team in the future. 3* or not these kids are good if you do your homework you can find the 3* who wasn't looked at all that closely and doesn't have an accurate ranking. They're all over the place and LSU just so happens to be a place that can pick and choose or be picky about which ones they bring in. That's why I'm not really concerned with that classes ranking.

Ever notice the juco transfers are always the strongest guys on our team?

Yes, I do and makes me wonder why we don't have a new youngblood Strength Coach.

Agreed. At 325 or so, the young man’s first step can be that much quicker AND more sustainable with better stamina.

Seems to be pretty fast, even at the current weight, also appears to be humble and friendly. Think he will be a popular Tiger.

Sometimes he stands straight up out of his stance, it works at that level because of his size.

two different OL get their hands on him and he blows by them to rack the RB before he can even get moving in the backfield.

@2:12 he breaks through the double team OL, and then knocks down the next double team of RB/QB in one motion.
LSU OL's can't even block LSU true freshman DL's.

What they gonna do against SEC DL's?

You can see it coming a mile up the road.

Meh...... One would expect his play at high school level to be such. He does have really quick first step and plays hard, never letting up. With his talent and enormous size, those highlights are expected.
Lets see how he does going against true competition. You can tell by that gut, he's never had to work hard, he got by on size and talent. Will he rise up and work? Or lay back and we never hear his name again?

Just saying...

I think the red shirt rule has been changed to where a player can participate in four games and still not count the year.
