Does the release of the Will Wade wiretap mean anything at this point?

It just confirms circumstantial evidence that had been already reported last March

At least from what I read, there is no NEW damning information outside of Dawkins saying Wade was referring to money when referencing the "strong arse offer."

frick the 'Rona virus but, I have to admit. This does come at a good time where the NCAA is literally in disarray. I don't think WW will be on top of their agenda at the moment considering the nothingburger that came about from the federal trials

A little negative PR at this point. He withstood the initial news, fallout & investigation, so really doubt it affects anything of substance.

He doesn’t have a bag-man yet. And needs better phone etiquette while discussing cheating...and basically anyone who follows college basketball considers us the Astros without a title

If this was at another school you would be calling for their heads. What happened to the integrity we used to have at LSU?

You can’t compete in football or basketball without playing this game. Don’t be naive

Outside of Alabama... no

I really don't give a shite if Arizona is paying players.. Or KU.. You know why? NCAA basketball is a joke. It's corrupt as hell to being with. This is the environment they made.

Besides we're about to give out money anyways

Yea and football is clean and pure and does nothing wrong.

If you don’t think the top schools in football and basketball are cheating then you are actively putting your heads in the sand. All schools do it and if you want to compete at that level you have to.

Will Wade’s crime is not being smart enough to have an assistant do the talking so he can play dumb lol.

In an advance screening of the documentary obtained by The Advocate on Tuesday, nothing was revealed that hasn't been reported earlier.

It's nothing we didn't already know, maybe a little more specific but we already knew about the Naz stuff, no proof, no problem for us.

This is true. It’s a cesspool. The NCAA has known this for years but turned a blind eye to it because the tourney is a cash cow and it would hurt their image.
That said, they may wish to make an example of a few programs.

The NCAA will investigate at some point. It may not be now (because I’d COVID) but it will hang like the Sword of Damocles over Wade and the program.
