Poche' has been nothing short of great this year but he still has a long way to go to make it onto a MLB roster.
You have to be a phenomenal baseball player to make it to that level.

Glavine is a good pitcher to compare with Poche.

Yes he's got great control of the strike zone for the college level. He's a lefty so he doesn't need to be a flame thrower and he knows how to pitch. The fact that he's improved considerably every year is also a huge positive for him. He does need to add a pitch or two but I'm sure that'll happen and he's thrown over 100 pitches before so he's got enough juice to be a starter. The lefty delivery the stamina and his control will all translate to the pro level.

He's got the same arm as Andy Pettitte basically. What's his name from Seattle pitched 20 years with an 84mph fastball. We'll see how it turns out for him.

If he can stay on the Cuthbert's and have the change up and curve ball working I don't see why not

No..I know of 2 that are for sure one. They are just simply guys that report to the guy, who reports to the guy, that reports to the guy. They are all over the place. It's a nice notch on your belt, but a HS coach can get into the game. It's not anything to brag about really.

He is left handed and throws strikes. He will make it to the Majors.

I bet he's never breaks through in the bigs.
What the heck is wrong with sone of you? Why do you guys choose to be complete douches?

Nobody knows or can predict MLB career, if one. For him it's Going to be between the ears. Change speeds, hit locations. Like Glavin and others. We'll see. I'm just going to enjoy watching him as a Tiger.Glad he came back. Might be the difference maker.

Sure it does, start on the outside and keep moving it out

The announcers on fox sports said Jared reminds them a lot of Tom Glavine! Pretty big compliment....

The dude asked a question and I answered with my honest opinion. I could be wrong, and I hope I am. I just don't see his stuff translating well onto the majors. Obviously the padres, and plenty of other MLB teams didn't either, or he wouldn't be at LSU right now.
If OP would have asked if I felt he could lead us to a great run in Omaha, my answer would have been HELL YES. I'm not knocking the guy at all.
