They compared tailgating at Ole Miss vs Bama, and LSU vs Ole Miss. These aren't quite the same.

Social distancing is going to hurt their grove area of tailgating.

When you have chandeliers under your tent and everyone is dressed up in button downs, jackets, and dresses, its hard to take you serious. They just think theyre better than everyone else. I CANT WAIT to have another year of putting 40-50 on them.

The Grove is...boring. Everybody jammed together...no cooking.

No.

I went to school at Ole Miss, back when we parked our cars in the Grove to go to games.

No cooking, no open containers and very pretentious people that only want to see if MSU is losing.

I found it way too crowded and full of pretentious people eating chicken nugget platters from walmart.

It sounds like the Grove was planned during prohibition. I’ve had friends go to OM who are nice and great people, but when they were in the Grove, they became utter d-bags wearing long sleeves, blazers and ties for a 2:30 kickoff that they know they will lose by the 1st quarter.

Not impressed by pompous asses at what is truly just “the best university in MS” and that’s being generous.

It’s different for sure. I went to the midnight spot grab with a friend (Ole Miss student) which was neat. Then they place hay everywhere and you arrive to your spot in the AM. The tailgates are controlled, no glass, lots of cops. Formal wear, and i don’t recall music, or at least blasting music.

It felt “formal”, but it was unique and fun. Just not on par with LSU.
