Does Ole Miss really have better tailgating than LSU?

I know, I know, the Grove is great and I'm not trying to kiss y'alls arse too much here but Baton Rouge gameday's bury Oxford. What are your favorite tailgate locations?

They dress up like they are going to a fricking baptist service and hang chandeliers in tents, so no... it's actually one of the more overrated things in SEC lore.

What happens at Ole Miss is not tailgating.

The grove is certainly unique in the way they go about it. And I have had a good time every time I have gone. But in reality once you get over the elevated dress code and some cool decorative touches. It’s really just a sea of tents packed too closely together all serving sandwich trays.

In no way is it better. First off the grove is so crowded it doesn’t really make for a fun tailgate. Second you can’t even have a beer can in your hand. I know you can have a solo cup but not being able to carry a case of beer automatically knocks down the tailgate a few points. I’m trying to get to every SEC stadium, about 6 to go. I can say I enjoyed Washington’s tailgate more than Ole Miss.

Not that great unless you like stale potato salad and wine in a plastic wine glass.

They get their tail gates catered. They don’t know how to cook.

lol no

Alot of the tailgating is just consolidated into one big area as opposed to scattered all over like most campuses.

They also like to decorate

That's really it

The Grove is a gimmic. It’s cute to see, the women are nice but I’ve been once and will probably never go back.
