Wright will be hard to replace. Just my opinion. No clue what his NIL is but if Reed ward could put up his numbers, they would. Mcmahon was able to improve in his transfer portal play. There’s 5 cats who can push an offense vs about 3 last year.

I was in the camp of hell no if it is like last year. I think he has shown enough progress to get year 3 and should get a year 3

They aren't firing him anything short of a 3rd year at least

Not to make this thread about Wade, but there is a good chance he takes 2 schools to the tournament before we get back there.

McMahon is all but guaranteed a third year, especially in light of the class he has signed for next year. After that, it will be year-to-year. Although Woody has made it clear what he thinks about MBB. Hell, the last two coaches he hired are still hanging out in the bottom half of the league.

.500 in conference next year gets him a 4th. Watch and see.

Reread that? You’re saying right now, you are more displeased than last year at this time? Brutal schedule with 3 more wins.
I'm not here to argue.

What should I reread? If the bar is set at 2 SEC wins and then next season you have 3 SEC wins, maybe a few more, that's something.

No, outside of my reactions at times, I'm relegated to acceptance of we suck and getting back to even 9-10 SEC wins a year will take a lot to accomplish.

I could see him doing good in a mid-major, but what I saw with the game at Auburn and Alabama was a team that got out coached and out hustled. If you can’t do it for a couple more years, be ready for L’s for those games. Will Wade would be getting us the same L’s if he was still here.

Unless the team drops the last few and the conf tourney games, Mcmahon will get a 3rd year.
Start baker, pull him at 17 minutes, give him the last 7 minutes of the half. Then bring him in last 10 minutes of the 2nd. Dean\fountain can support the guard\wing high motion to allow an extended press on d. Just saying.

According to Moscona, last year didn’t count. He gets 2 more years.

7 year contract @ $2/M year. No way we pay this bum $10 M to go right now. At some point, the annual waste of millions upon millions for firing crappy coaches needs to stop.

Unpopular take but I think he’s a good coach but doesn’t have much D1 talent on the team and not one single “ star”. Hopefully he recruited well for next season

He’ll get 5 unless for cause. They signed a 7 year deal for a reason

Yes he does. Woody isn’t going to admit he made a mistake.

He absolutely will, regardless of how any of us feel here.

Only if he finishes within spitting distance of .500 in SEC play and makes the NIT. If not, its a toss-up. If he gets a third year, its tourney or bust.

We have at least one more year of suck, but realistically it will be 3 years total before someone new can fix things.
