LSU officials reportedly said the actual attendance was ~82,000.

I believe it. There was a thread a week or so ago about Tiger Stadium actual attendance numbers.

Maybe they are to expensive? So lets add more seats and jack the price up more because our economy is awsome!!!

I still beleive there were more than 82000 seats

This will be common once they put that upper deck over the south end if we can't fill it up now with a one loss team playing the #3 team in the country.

In this stretch, LSU is averaging a little more than 9,000 no-shows at SEC games and slightly less than 20,000 no-shows at non-conference games.

Hah! Who's crazy now assholes?! 10% is a substantial percentage of no-shows.

I sit on the west side and in the first quarter, I mentioned that I thought there were 10,000 empty seats in the stadium...I didn't see many peope leave, but it was far from a full house...

loudest crowd I can remember in years, though...so apparently we didn't need the deadbeats anyway...

regardless of the answer, your title is pathetic and it's just an indication that you have nothing better else to do besides find something, anything to bitch about.

seriously stop posting.

fwiw i was too shitty and into the game to bother worrying about who wasnt there. was loud as hell and we won the end.

I went to the game and sat in the wrong section. Student especially prefer to pack into the section they like or that is next to their friends rather than spread out evenly to fill that one weird spot on the other side of the band.

Is it really hurting LSU though? The tickets are still sold. The fans are losing the money if they dont show up or dont sell their tickets. Someone posted they wont go to the game and wont sell their tickets cus they are fed up with miles. Let those 9k bandwagon fans sit at home

There were tons of holes in the East Upper. I'd imagine that from either across the stadium or from down below, it looked pretty full. But when you're actually up there, you realize how many individual seats aren't filled.

You gotta ask yourself a serious question. Why do you respond to what you consider pathetic subject titles and what does this say about the state of your life at this point in time?

For all saying there weren't empty seats, we had 4 around us on the S. E. side 35yd. line. The family behind us left with 5:00 left in the 4th quarter.

I could not believe how many empty seats there were in Tiger Stadium for this critical game

i don't know why it's so hard to believe. there were recent articles all over this.

since 2007...
quote:

. Beginning with that season, LSU has played 38 games at home. The average number of no-shows for these games is slightly more than 14,000.

quote:

In the past six years, LSU has sold no fewer than 91,556 tickets for any home game. In fact, at least 92,000 tickets have been sold for 35 of the 38 games. However, LSU has never had 90,000 people in Tiger Stadium.

quote:

The two largest actual crowds occurred at games in 2007 - Florida (89,800) and Virginia Tech (89,200).

curious what the actual was last Sat. (didn't read the entire thread so SIAP).
