Does LSU Promote "Gold" Games To Hide The Number Of Empty Seats?

I could not believe how many empty seats there were in Tiger Stadium for this critical game.
It got me to wondering if LSU could see this coming and did not want to embarrass itself on national TV with so many empty seats visible.
The gold shirts worn by fans kinda masked the large amount of empty gold seats throughout the stadium.
Sad to see so many empty seats but the fans that WERE there made up for the no-shows with some incredible energy.

Attendance was like 92,700.
Not sure if serious.

I wish some people in my SEZ section would have moved to those "empty" seats since there were more asses than seats.

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever read on the rant. EVER. And that is seriously saying something. What. In. The. Frick. Are you smoking?

No doubt. We need our fans to contribute to the game. Empty seats equals quiet stadiums like this past Saturday. Another sign of the decline

Brah there was like 92k there

Yes. It is a liberal media conspiracy.

come on really? you do know that many, and i don't know how many, but a lot of those sideline seats belong to the corporate partners of LSU now don't you? those people could give 2 fuks about attending a football game.

Absolutely serious. There were tons of ticket sellers at the game and a whole lot of empty seats in the stadium which is very disappointing for such a huge game. I'm sure the student section was probably packed.... but the rest of the stadium...not so much.

Have you ever been to a game before? Is this a serious question?

The actual attendance was around 88,000 so he could be right

There are lots of ticket sellers every game. I didn't see many at all. Looked and sounded great to me

I didn't see many empty seats but I did see more tickets for sale outside the stadium than I expected. And, no, I'm not including the same group that you always see hawking ten tickets at a time. "Announced" attendance was over 92,000 and for once, I actually believe it.

I was at the game. The house was full. You must have been at the Tulane game.

I will say that there were a decent amount of empty seats for the kind of game it was on the East Side lower bowl during the 4th quarter that I could see sitting in the west side

You're cracked. Everybody I spoke to who went to the game said it was packed and the atmosphere was awesome. Are you one of those "fans" who's not happy unless you have something to bitch about?
