It's way too competitive to assume you/'re gonna lose 0-2 games every season. No other sec team is doing that right now. This is the first competitive team we've put together, let's see what they do.

Game One will be the deciding factor. Our record is not good in those situations. Hoping this year's team is just different.

Nuss is going to shine whether he runs or not. It is so weird how people downplay it was his first year starting and gaining realnexperience....even though JB and JD took their second year starting here to break out. He will still throw some pics but he got much better towards the end of the season and if Hilton can stay healthy thatbopens up the deep ball...we didn't have that last year until the end of the season. That changes things dramatically.

I really believe that Nuss will take off more for first downs with his legs when needed. He showed the ability to do it at times last year. My feeling is that Kelly knew that he had no shot at winning if Nuss went down so they drilled in his head not to run last year. Having a backup this year that does have SEC starting experience, I think they tell him to run more when it is there this year which will keep more drives alive and make us even harder to cover if he does it consistently. Don't have to be Cam Newton or Lamar out there just be athletic enough to take off and get first downs which I think he can do well.

Players win the games not coaches, QB is the most important position in football and if Nuss is good then LSU will play for the NC.

My thoughts exactly lol. We are not the players. Maybe they shouldn’t look ahead but it affects the team 0% if the fans look at the season as a whole rather than one game at a time lol
