Let's see Oregeron finishes up 6-2 (with close, competitive losses and an upset over Alabama).

Does LSU remove the interim tag from Oregeron? He has head coaching experience before (Ole Miss and USC). He is a masterful competitor, motivator, and recruiter.

I'd imagine he could continue recruiting at an elite level and would continue letting Aranda run LSU's defense. On top of that, if Oregeron was able to bring over Kiffin to run LSU's offense, I'd imagine they would be a powerhouse from the get go.

Just saying...before all the talk of Herman, Briles, Petrino, LSU may already have their guy...

If we fired Miles to only hire Orgeron after he goes 6-2 the rest of the way with this talent, everyone involved should be fired and run out of town.

Seriously?

Why would Kiffin leave Bama?

He is resurrecting his career there with national titles as an OC. He will only leave for a HC job.

He is willing to put up with Saban berating him publicly on the sidelines and in the PC by telling the world he was chewing Lane's @ss.

This scenario scares me. People consider him and Kiffin yet a few years ago nobody likes either.

It's not a awful as it sounded 5 years ago..

both coaches have grown a lot

I think LSU is looking for a young offensive minded coach with CEO skills

Herman or Jimbo

LSU just needs a head coach that can recruit. Orgeron can do such. Let Orgeron and Aranda run the defense. Let Kiffin (who can recruit and coach offense/develop Qb's) run the offense.

I think LSU would be a major bitch to deal with.

This is your second thread trying to convince us that we don't need Herman or that we can't get him. Back to the MSB with you...

Not if coach o has the testicular fortitude to hire a capable oc and let Dave run the defense.
