Eric Martin was damn great, but he was never confused for a fast WR
Neither was Jerry Rice

Go back and read again what my response was to the quote and you might get it this time
I was just comparing Martin as far as people saying Jerry Rice was not considered a fast WR either. Just saying and I don't know, is Diarse considered a burner? He looks more like a big possession receiver that is very strong and can break tackles. I can see a little of Martin's style in him.

Early Doucet IMO.

Eric Martin was big and physical but did not have blazing speed. He had a pair of the surest hands in the history of LSU and the Saints. The only one whose catching ability I had more confidence in was Wendell Davis. If it turns out that Diarse's hands remind us of Martin's, we will have ourselves a superstar.

I like the Dez Bryant comparison. What kind of speed does Diarse have?

I have loved this guy since the first time I saw him play at Neville, he's a great kid and a true leader...what you saw him do against Wisconsin is just the beginning
There's going to be a lot of SEC corners afraid to tackle this dude.
