I see it. Probably more than half of the people on this board never saw Eric Martin play. I don't think Diarse is a blazer either and they have similar builds. Not fast, but very smooth and hard to tackle.

BTW, Trey Quinn reminds me of Bradon Stokley. Their stride is very similar along with their build.

Yup. His stride is similar to Wes Welker's and Jordy Nelson's too.

I'm curious - why did you you stop your subject line halfway through the sentence?

Dez Bryant

As a Cowboys fan, I can only wish that Diarse was in the same realm as Bryant. Diarse is a possession guy while Bryant displays speed, catch radius, agility, vision, leaping ability, etc. Not to take anything away from Diarse but Bryant has the most talent at his position in the league.

This is a funny topic because Eric Martin works at my company. I talked to him Tuesday about the game. When I told him that I thought Diarse reminded me of him, he said that he was only 190 lbs when at LSU not 210 lbs like Diarse. But I had to remind him that a 190-lb receiver was big 30 years ago.

This is what my dad says but I'm pretty sure it's just because he wears #9.

Diarse looked great against a slow Big Ten defense, but comparing the guy to Eric Martin after one game? Tap the brakes.

Diarse is built kinda like former Ohio St receiver David Boston ( before he went nuts with the steroid-inflated arms).

Exactly. Their builds are similar relative to their time.

And can't help but think of Herman Fontenot when talking about ET!

I agree that he reminds me of Josh Reed. Watched some highlights of him the other night. Whew! Amazing after the catch.
