How serious is this getting?

What about Turner Field? That place should be free
Not really serious, because idk how it could possibly be ready in time, but damn that would be cool.

Doak Campbell should be available. Tallahassee is far enough west that it should be out of harm's way.

So would Tad Gormley and Wembley Stadium, but they won't play it there either.
The game will be in Gainesville or Baton Rouge

Again, you would be out of your mind to ask fans to travel TOWARDS a major hurricane!
Also, most if not all major D1 schools would not want 2 other fan bases coming to their campus and tearing the place up.

If south carolina cancels or moves their game, we can always play it there

We did miss out on our chance at a trip to SC last year.

doubt it will affect the stadium much.
Its not about this people. If a few million people need hotel rooms inland, it will be an issue. If emergency services from Gainesville need to assist other counties, it will be an issue. All of FL is in a state of emergtency already.
The game is not really at all dependent on how much damage Gainesville directly takes.

Depending on the path, half of Jacksonville could drive I10 over to Tallahassee to evacuate. They would not llay a game to infere with that.

Just move the game to BR. High 90 low 61 with sunny skies. We will give all money raised to Florida

last report out of Haiti about an hour ago was swells up to 50 feet high and winds gusting to 175mph...
That's pretty damn serious.

It would actually be away from the storm but OK point taken.

Hope this hurricane moves east and we don't have to move the game. I know I'd be pissed if this was happening the other way around.

Keep you gay liberalism on the political board.

After Hati, Cuba and the Bahamas are finished with this storm there won't be much left to affect Florida much. The storm will be in North Carolina by game time.
Posted on 10/4/16 at 8:59 am to tgrbaitn08
Yeah there are still warm waters by the bahamas. Storm isnt going to weaken much after that until it gets more north.

Dude, it is forecast to be a category 3 storm moving up the entire east coast of the Florida peninsula. If it stays on its current path it is going to be one of the most destructive hurricanes in history.
