We have to allow this at least once a year by contract. If not Georgia, then who? State?

I think we are doomed for afternoon.

Bama will be primetime kick.

Unless we lose to La Tech and Ole Miss, UGA will be the 230 game.

CBS isn’t passing up 2 top 10 teams in Baton Rouge.

When will you ppl learn. LSU cannot reject anything a morning or afternoon game. This lies totally with the network and SEC. If CBS or ESPN decided they wanted LSU to play at 11am or 2:30 or whatever time, they have no choice.

This game was destiend for 2:30 CBS since it was announced as a matchup, barring LSU losing 2-4 games. Clearly you won't by then, so you can go ahead and bet your house on the fact that it'll be at 2:30. There is 0% it won't be.

we have to allow it how ever many times CBS tells us to.

and it doesn’t have to happen every year if CBS doesn’t want it to.
there’s not enough weekends in the season for every SEC team to host the CBS game.

If both teams keep winning and it's a battle of unbeatens, it will 100% be the CBS game and the College Gameday location.

Not true. If CBS wants LSU to move their kickoff to 2:30, there’s nothing LSU can do about it.

Don’t you want your football team to be showcased at 2:30 in front of the entire nation?

If LSU plays 6 or 7 games that contain a 2:30 CBS kick, that means we are winning and a Top 5 program!!!

If LSU and Georgia are both undefeated is it possible that CBS makes it a prime time game like Alabama?

My understanding is that CBS gets to decide which game it broadcasts among the SEC v SEC match ups and it gets to pick one 'prime time' broadcast'.

I doubt it. I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the only time CBS does that is when they do the "double-header" format.

As of right now, LSU-UGA is by far the most interesting game on Oct. 13. I just don't see any of the other games having enough draw to justify CBS picking another up for the double-header.

Prime time as in the one night game? I doubt it.

We're at 230 on CBS throughout unless there is a doubleheader.
