Yes I do.
1. I also saw how Nuss looked against southern.
2. The oline being as bad as they were is a disadvantage to what Nuss brings to the table.
3. It’s year one everything was going to be far from perfect.
4. I believe I watched Jayden bring down Bama and I thought he played a magnificent game.
5. Jayden doesn’t just throw balls up in the air just to do it.
6. How many times did Jayden turn the ball over and it actually was his fault? He does not force balls into bad spots
7. He still has room to grow which is great in a QB.
I don’t necessarily think Nuss is the answer because he will throw up prayers. The first touchdown thrown against uga should have been a pick. If you don’t think that it should why was BK talking to him about that throw instead of celebrating it with him. Go back and watch him playing against southern and tell me that he will win us games.

Nuss looked amazing but that was against a base defense with starters out!

How should this be determined?
Only BK can answer that.
All season, though, I have been saying that Nuss needed more PT. Some rantards thought that was crazy talk. All they ever pointed to was the Southern game. They saw nothing beyond that.
The only other times he got to play he did well, but guys like Nuss need to play. Once he's comfortable and the game slows down for him to make better reads and decisions, it's time IMHO. More PT is needed, and he definitely should get some time in the bowl game.

It’s called math. Really great science to understand. You can take numbers and plug them into equations and then get answers

Math has nothing to do with making shite up then denying you did it. Btw your “math” isn’t even correct lol.

After watching a man who has now started for fours years, I have concluded that he has plateaued, that he is not going to be a good pocket passer
Regardless of how you feel about who is better, I want to examine the above statement. Saying he has plateaued is kind of idiotic He improved so much from the FSU game to the Georgia game in the passing game this year for LSU. He began to go through progressions, he hung in the pocket better and culminated that improvement by going 16 for 24 for over 200 yards against the best defense in the country. And that was before Georgia backed off, didn’t blitz much and gave up a lot of underneath stuff in the second half with the huge lead they had. The first half was unquestionably the best half of football Daniels played this year. And on a bum ankle where he could hardly move. Having said that, maybe he gets beat out by Nussmeier or Howard. If so that’s great, because that means whoever did so is a damn good QB. Why LSU fans want a guy who showed major improvement through the course of the year to leave is really confusing. I am looking forward to seeing how much better he can get with an entire offseason with our coaching staff and teammates.

Only a misguided ignoramos would compare Burrow to Daniels in that manner. Daniels had had three years as a starter and Burrow bit one.
Dingaling.

You mean the underneath stuff lime Nuss’s first completion or his TD to Nabers? That kind of underneath stuff?
Hahahahahaaaaa.

Math is not science. It is a language of logic. In any case I think you mean arithmetic.

Southern. That’s all you got? Nuss plays like he actually understands the game. Keeps his eyes down field when scrambling, avoiding sacks.
Jayden does not possess those skills.
Thanks

Why has BK not given him more snaps?
I think honestly you saw the QB battle in a nutshell on Saturday. JD is much more cautious with his throws to the point of it hampering the offense. Nuss is overly aggressive to the point of almost forcing turnovers. BK thought limiting turnovers and having the better runner was the right call.

This is not how his td to Nabers was described in the least. It was noted how fast the ball got there, defense could not get to it because of the speed of the ball, and in the right place over the defenders.
I am good with whoever plays but the badgering of players with untruths is not a good thing for any of them or us as fans.

Daniel's will probably be greatly improved next season. Look at the le a p burrows made

Nuss has a higher ceiling than JD.
I get the impression that the only reason JD started was due to promises made to get JD to transfer to LSU. I hope those promises are fulfilled and LSU can move on. Why? IMO, JD has reached his ceiling. He has great legs but is a weak thrower. This limits a very import part of the offense, the WRs.
The most disappointing part of the offense this year was the underutilization of the WRs and that is all on Jayden Daniels. Sorry but JD just does not have the arm talent to take this team to the next level. He is not a deep ball threat and if you rush 3 or four with a spy his legs will be neutralizes. SEC defenses have a bead on Daniels now and they understand his weaknesses...make him throw.
With that said, I trust the coaches made the right decision at the beginning of the season at the QB position to win the most games. Nuss nor Howard were as ready. I understand the decision.
However, it is clear Nuss has the arm talent to play on Sundays. I would hate to see that talent not express itself at LSU in a positive manner. I'm surprised that the coaches could not develop plays and play calling to reign in Nuss' talent to limit his propensity for turnovers. IMO if he got early playing time those turnover issues would have faded from week to week.
Again, Nuss has the ceiling to play on Sundays. Let's get that talent on the field at LSU before he moves on to the NFL.

Why anyone ever thought JD, a really great kid, but lousy QB would play all of this season much less NEXT season is just really unthinkable. If JD is is QBing for LSU next year we will sink.
JD proved to anyone that’s not a complete & utter dumbass that he can play QB in the SEC. IF he comes back he’s gonna be QB1. UNLESS Nuss or Howard can come in & blow the coaches away with their progress & ball security.
BTW after seeing the success they had this season as well as JDs stats it’s clear to me that he was & still is the best option (right now) LSU has at QB.

I give huge props to Daniels who has brought us to the sec championship and beat Ala. I’m not sure Nuss could have done that. I really don’t know but again Daniels did. Having said that in my opinion Nuss will likely be a pro. Daniels will likely not. We will have to let the coaches navigate this but keeping both would be remote even if I think these two compliment one another and could share time which I usually hate. Third and long Nuss. Third and short Daniels.

Burrow had the same arm talent in 2019 as he had in 2018. Where Burrow improved was the emergence of the players around him, especially Chase, Jefferson, CEH and his OL.
Daniels is pretty close to his ceiling IMO. If there is improvement in his game it won't be much, albeit he has a lot of room to improve.

One problem though. Average SEC defenses know how to stop JD now.
