Does anyone think LSU will pay a $12 million buyout?

Why are we even talking about firing Orgeron like it is a possibility? There is no scenario where LSU can pay that money. Please stop the fantasy threads about Stoops, Fleck, or whoever your personal hard-on might be. Fire Alleva, sure, but O gets at least two years, probably three. God help us.

You don't know what the frick you're talking about. How much do you think three years of losing seasons will cost? I'll give you a hint, a shite load more than 12 million. Posters are perfectly within their rights to be pondering stoops, fleck, etc.

If LSU tanks the rest of SEC play
It will be a very close call, LSU won't be able to afford this
Donations are already starting to drop dramatically and an empty stadium will be bad.
Recruiting will take a major blow too
If LSU is smart they would pull the cord as quickly as possible if not LSU will SOL for at least 5-6 years
I can promise everyone, if we continue LSU will lose way more than 12 million dollars easy

Even if that’s right, I promise you the politicians who run LSU will not write that check. Period. That’s just reality. I want him gone as much as you do but we have to live in the real world. And we haven’t even talked about the buyouts for Canada and Aranda.

If Orgeron is fired this year it would mean LSU is on the hook for paying almost $20 million to coaches who are no longer at LSU (Orgeron, Miles & Johnny Jones). That doesn't include what might be owed to football assistant coaches who would not be retained.
