The basic run first is there, but its been like that under multiple head coaches.
Yeah there were a couple Saban years that left a bit to be desired on the offensive side. Should have fired that guy

2004:
9 points vs. Auburn
16 points vs. Georgia
24 points vs. Vanderbilt
24 points vs. Troy
2002:
0 points vs. Alabama
7 points vs. Auburn
8 points vs. Virginia Tech

We recruit predominantly out of the home state of Louisiana. It's built on power running and feature great athletes at the rb position. I hate that we don't utilize more skill players in the passing game, but that's not our system.

How many OCs need to be made into scapegoats?
How many OCs and nothing changes offensively before people realize it's the one constant?
We were no offensive juggernaut in 2011 and our OC had come up under Urban Meyer.
The lack of a short/intermediate passing games means lower probability throws that results in lower completion percentages

I think he is. He's been successful other places. I still believe Miles makes him run a vanilla offense if the quarterback isn't ready
Miles haters aren't ready to consider this a possibility.

Isn't he the one responsible for getting the QB ready? So for the second year in a row we can't get a QB ready. Then how the hell do other coaches not have a problem getting multiple QB's ready. Just last year FSU and OSU had to rely on backups in big games during playoff seasons.

I think Miles needs to change
All our OC's and game plans under Miles look the same

You don't really know things.
The offense looks different than it did under Fisher and Crowton. It's pretty ignorant to say otherwise

Don't forget 10 points versus UAB.
Saban sure hasn't forgotten. He had their program shut down so as to make sure he never had to play them again.

Cam can teach all the principles he want but the players have to execute the game plan. I don't think many were having an issue before the bama game. We won't face a defense that stout up front the rest of the season.

How many OCs would that be under Miles if Cam is let go? Maybe its the head man and not the coordinator?
This, this and only this!!!!!!!!!!

And whose job is it to get the QB ready?
Look around at how many schools are playing and winning with freshmen at QB. Why is it that none of our QBs under Cam seem to be able to grasp his offense within a couple of years.
It seems his passing scheme is just too complicated for college and doesn't translate well for young QBs. Also, why do we have such a hard time creating space for our receivers? They only seem to be wide open when they have simply outrun the DB on a fly or post pattern.

Cam does not have a great history of winning. You can call his system or scheme what you want, but he has not been successful at winning games in his career. He's done a far better job as a coordinator, but that's not saying much for a guy who has never had a winning record or even a .500 record as a head coach.
It is hard to deny the curse of 2008 that is still haunting the offense though.

The offense has changed a little, but the simplicity and lack of production hasn't.

Miles doesn't have the faith in any young qb.
I think he has been suffering from a form of PTSD since 2008 and crawls back into his Bo Schembechler shell anytime something bad occurs with the offense.

BINGO! When Stud was the OC at Bowling Green, I don't think they ran predominantly out of the I-formation, and I would be willing to bet you they didn't have a "toss dive" in the playbook.
