Yup. That's why 8-4/7-5 is unacceptable

Not even a 1% chance of him being our coach in 2 years IMO. Our program is dysfunctional in a way that coaches don’t come back from. Bad culture, bad coaches, players quitting, etc. Going to be a bumpy ride until he gets fired, he’s not the same guy he was in 2018 or 2019

Yep.

from the same group of people that couldnt sniff 2019's prosperity as it was unfolding before you eyes in 2018. lol

Thinking he will have another season like last year his a huge ask........ but he can’t do worse than 8-4 next year or he will be in trouble....

He absolutely can if he brings in another brilliant offensive mind, another defensive genius, and another once in a lifetime quarterback

Surprised you didn't go with Les Myles here.

Name your top five to replace him.

Remember our top two, Fisher and Herman, sure national championship winners by folks like you, a couple years ago.
Frost was another sure winner.

That's the issue. Is Orgeron the one to fix it? Or is he the cause of it?

He's 4 years into this as HC. Who is arguing anyone else is the cause? I've seen some apologists float the Covid and new coordinator excuse, but O has to own all of the crap you see and likely has burnt the program beyond his ability to repair.

Brett, last year was really great-the best ever, but I believe Coach Brady, Coach Aranda, and Joe Burrow were more responsible than Coach O. The way Coach O chew out Finley in the A&M game after pick 6, I worry about future recruits seeing that on national TV. Would you want your son treated that way on TV?? Not sure coach O can fix LSU....

No, I think these title IX issues will take him down. I just believe something got covered up.

No, and I'm beginning to think 2021 is looking doubtful.

You don’t need to like the post just put a Downvote to it no sense in censoring a post just because you don’t agree with it

He'd get one more year. People forget how "good" our 2021 recruiting class is. By the end of the 2022 season, we will know how that class is panning out.

This seems to be the problem (potentially).

For the most part, when you watched our games in 2018 and 2019, we seemed pretty damn well coached. Honestly, we did. And that's not something we are used to at LSU.

I'm still hopeful he can right the ship next year, and that we can chalk all the locker room turmoil and bullshite problems up to 2020 being shitshow of a year.

So you're saying the same person who hired him could fire him next year?

The person who hired EdO is long gone.

NO one with a large buyout will be terminated if that payout is triggered. LSUAD simply has no money at all for that. After 2022 at the very earliest.

Yeah, but O brought all of that together with the exception of Aranda, who was a good, but not great d coordinator.

I have no problem with any coach yelling at a QB for throwing the ball up for grabs. This is football, not pillow fighting. Saban yells at all of his players, staff, media, etc., and it has had no negative affect on recruiting. Hell, he even hit one of his QBs.
