Moderators need to seriously do more by way of deleting these threads & temp banning the posters of this idiocracy.

LSU has already come out w/ their official statement that employment changes won't be coming. Any/all extra spending is CLOSED until further notice. No coach contract buyouts are coming.

you're either IN or you're out. and if you're out, then STFU because all you're doing is adding to the problem.

Nah. He's probably untouchable until after the 2022 season though.

It would probably take a losing record for him to be canned next year.

Two 7-5 seasons over the next two years and he's probably gone.

The car drove itself last year. Lucky fools don’t have the slightest suspicion that they are lucky fools.

He’ll get a full year next year to show results. Earliest a change would happen is 2022. Will depend how the virus plays out.

In Nebraska's case, 9-3 being a fireable offense is the road to suckdom.

Coach O just orchestrated one of the greatest seasons in college history. Yes he made bad hires with his coordinators, and we are a young team, but he usually adjusts after getting burned 1 season. "If" Brennan is healthy next year, and we get our defense fixed LSU is a 10 win team new years 6 bowl team.

The levels of stupidity in our fanbase never ceases to amaze me. The bar goes lower and lower every year.

If our offense and defense are good we are a 10 win team.

Your ignorance is showing. There is more football talent within 100 miles of Baton Rouge than the entire states of Tennessee and Nebraska.

Soooooo, even less of an excuse to go 8-4.

no doubt. Anyone thinking we would be better than 8-4 or 9-3 this year was not realistic. Our offense was pretty damn good under MB. Defense sucked early but has shown improvement. I know most tiger fans think plugging a true fresh qb in is easy but that just shows their knowledge of the game or just how dumb our fanbase is.

Not even a 1% chance of him being our coach in 2 years IMO. Our program is dysfunctional in a way that coaches don’t come back from. Bad culture, bad coaches, players quitting, etc. Going to be a bumpy ride until he gets fired, he’s not the same guy he was in 2018 or 2019

Considering the anti O faction of our fanbase were adamant that he could never win a title here in the first place(it seems maybe you're one of those), what has changed to make you think he can't do it again? Hell most O supporters weren't sure he could win one here but were willing to give him a shot and it paid off.
These absolutes you guys spit out are only absolute in your minds. Get over it. The anti O establishment has been proven wrong once before(and can't handle it so they're piling on now) and I see no reason he can't do it again. It's easy to see him here in 2 years. It's also feasible to picture a scenario where he's not. The fans that were against his hire from get go have to accept that they were wrong and deal with watching how it plays out. If he does manage to win another, I hope all you anti O guys remember the things you have said and dont bother celebrating like you were given the privilege of doing last year. Those who were willing to give him a chance remember you guys well. We don't like what we've seen this year but that doesn't mean we are jumping ship. If a title one year followed by a bad the next is a fireable offense then we'd be recycling coaches every 2-3 years and never compete. You guys are focused on the little picture instead of the big one. That's a recipe for disaster if competing for titles is the ultimate goal.

You are an idiot. This line of thinking is how you end up with Clay Helton as a head coach. Coach O has proven that he can build a championship roster and coaching staff. I expect that we will be back to contention next year.
