I think he may stay mid week the next few weeks

SELU this week

N Dakota St is in the next week Tues/Wed

Then La tech

SELU & Tech seem like they may potentially be postseason teams.

ND St week will be more necessity due to 2 games. Tho they could just try and get by with the lower tiered guys

and there is always an arguement that having 4 guys going 7 innings is a good thing come tournament time.

if we can get 7-9 innings a game from these combos:
Luke/Ack
Jump/Griffen
Hurd/Coleman

and get Ulloa and Guidry in to close games and in high leverage situations

if we don’t need another long relief guy on weekends maybe he just stays there, but I feel like he ends up throwing one weekends at some poi

agree... you gotta give Cam johnson some mid-week starts in there so he can get better... I think Cade is the Sunday guy... hes better than Hurd for what ive seen...

I didn't get a chance to watch Kade Anderson yet. What pitches does he throw for strikes? I'm looking forward to watching tonight.

Why don’t you let the National Championship winning coach manage the team and you don’t worry about it.

BC this is a message board and people enjoy speculating--don't be an a-hole

I would leave him mid-week. Come tournament time starters in early trouble could be pulled with confidence having him in the pen.

Throws a fastball high around 95 and a breaking ball around 78-8X.

He's really good. Only a freshman, but will be one to keep an eye on.

Would have never made it to college ball if he didnt have TJ as a junior in high school.

So is he a two pitch guy right now or does he have a reliable third pitch?

Jay said his curveball and changeup are probably his 2 best pitches but they felt no need to call anything other than fastballs last game because wind was blowing in.

From what I've seen so far I think there's a good chance he gets into the weekend rotation at some point.

I could see us finding times to let any of the three current weekend guys take a week off and letting Anderson fill in as a starter. I don't think he'll take over a full time weekend spot this year, but he's probably the Saturday guy next year.

Was getting the RH batters with that high FB while also working that low inner half. He’s a beast.
