UNC lost a Monday game against Clemson. But UNC and vandy are both 2-0 on the weekend.

If you look at the stats(since there is no real comparisons at this point) North Carolina is a better team Statistically. They have a better team ERA and a better team batting average. The ACC is considered to be just as strong as the SEC. If North Carolina doesn't loose today I doubt LSU would take over #1 position.

Yeah, we will be #1. We would have a half game better record, and would have swept a top 10 team. No doubt about it. Just win!

It would be nice but rankings are meaningless right now if LSU continues winning. Things will fix themselves in the end.

Rankings in football determine everything. Rankings is baseball determine almost nothing.
Keeping up with baseball rankings is like stupidly caring what the AP rankings in football are! They don't factor into anything.
Right now all you should care about is our standings in the SEC race. Right now we are in the sec season and are trying to win the SEC! That matter 1,000,000 times more than rankings.

It should put you at the top but many of these polls are "conservative" when it comes to moving teams up and down so while you should probably move up, I'm not sure some of these sites will be willing to do so. Still, it will at the very minimum up the pressure on them to consider you for #1 at the very least.

The ACC is always considered. Just as strong. Except it never is.
