So many people in this thread saying people forget he was TD leader. People forget before injury. People forget he was higher ranked out of high school. People don’t realize how big he is. Mofos y’all say that in every thread. We do know. We do remember.

Yes. If he can do 75 rec/1500 yards/22 TDs he's first WR off the board.

He could, but I doubt it. Chase has such a unique skill set that not many receivers have. Marshall could still make himself a lot of money with an outstanding year.

He could if they actually play the season. Want all Tigers to excel.

The league isn't to see Chase sitting out as a big hit, not a good look.

Possibly one of the most underrated wrs in the last few years IMO. Can’t wait to watch him in the spotlight.

No. He’s not on Chases level. Chase is a notch above with ball skills and can be electric after the catch.

He can be a great pro, though. Think Marques Colston. A big body who can box out and gobble up yardage.

Of course he could. The guy is 6’4” vs 6’1”. If he even gets close to the stats that one of the greatest LSU won receivers in history got to, and he will be a first round pick and possibly a top-five pig. Terrace is one of my favorite receivers... For a reason. How do you not gotten injured last year who knows where his stats would’ve ended up.

Now that Chase is gone?

Justyn Ross or Davonta Smith. Just a guess though.

Not that that is everything but it’s pretty clear if you’ve watched that chase is a better WR than Marshall

I am not entirely sure about this.

Marshall was a monster last year before and after the injury. Marshall is also a big body, ideal for red zone targets in the NFL. I think Chase's size is the new typical WR going forward, but let Marshall have a 120+ receptions, 1700+ yard, 20 TD season. Both Chase and Marshall will be top 15, if not top 10 off the board.

Doubtful. When Stingley was asked last year who was the toughest LSU receiver to cover he said Chase. Marshall can still go first round though

I think a lot of it will depend on how Brennan does this year. 1st round WR talent is heavily dependent on a QB who is throwing like an NFL QB. OBJ got in first because we had Mettenberger who was drafted himself. Therefore, TMJ in first will comedown to MB throwing balls like an NFL QB. Also, he will have Devonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, and Justyn Ross to compete if he wants in first.

What’s the biggest difference between them? I would assume Chase is faster? And Marshall is bigger? Both great route runners with amazing hands . Marshall is probably a better target in the red zone.

What’s the difference? Seriously? There’s not a man in the world who can cover Chase. THAT’s the difference, and that’s not a small thing for a wide receiver.

It’s killing me to see guys falling all over themselves to rationalize how Chase leaving isn’t that big of a deal. If I was starting a college team, and I had the choice of Chase plus an ordinary SEC team’s receivers or the entire rest of LSU’s receiving corps I’d take Chase. If you’re debating who is better between Chase and ANY other college receiver you just don’t understand the receiver we had in Chase.
