Don't mean to sound "like that", but nothing i've seen from him this year convinces me he's NBA material. Plus, this year's draft is loaded.

I wouldn't rule out JOB being drafted this year. But the point is he is ready to go. He seriously thought about doing it last year. I don't see him coming back.

OBraynt yes, the others would be smart to get one more year at LSU after this year.

Good contribution. Seriously though, do you not think this draft class is stacked?

Real original screen name btw. I applaud your creativity.

JOB is gone pecan. He is a Brandon Bass type NBA player but has a better post game. Now if only he can improve his FT shooting

. Bass is a really good mid range shooter with power at the rim. I like JOB but he has a ways to go and his post game will not be as good in the NBA

None of them SHOULD leave but I'll be shocked if JOB still plays for LSU next season.

JOB: gone - flirted with the draft the past two seasons, not much else left to prove in college. Go get better coaching.

Mickey: Back - should continue to build on his midrange game to go along with his superb defensive ability

Martin: Back - just needs to continue finding himself as a player. Would really love to see him work on a one-dribble jump shot from the wings. This would help his game tremendously IMO.

LSU has 4 guys signed for next year with only 2 seniors on this year's team. Simple math tells you that 2 underclassmen won't be back next year. They signed a 4 and a 5, so I think logic dictates that they expect at least one of their froncourt players (Mickey, Martin, JOBIII) to leave.

Martin is not a 1st rounder in this year's draft. While he still could probably get drafted in the 2nd round on potential alone, I think He comes back.

Mickey is probably a 2nd guy now, but he is playing his way into the first round. Especially after last night's performance against a team loaded with lottery talent. It's a toss-up on whether he leaves.

JOBIII is going no matter what. Even if he comes back, I don't think he gets any better at this level. He is what he is, a below-the-rim 4, strong rebounder with a decent mid-range jumper. I agree that he can be a Brandon Bass type player in the NBA

Martin to the NBA??? Really?? The guy is barely a contributor and disappears for most of the time he's on the floor. Big time recruit, but has showed almost nothing thus far.

Nobody is drafting Mickey in the lottery.

He's 6'8, slender and has no midrange game. You can get away with playing him in the frontcourt in college, not in the NBA.

Martin-Definitely stays
JOB-Definitely stays
Mickey-Might leave if he's projected to be a lottery pick

You either don't watch LSU basketball or you're an idiot. He won't go to the NBA after this year, but he's shown wayyyyyy more than "almost nothing", especially since he's gotten his ankle to 100%. Dude has an unbelievable ceiling.

Yeah, Martin was hurt and it seemed to shake his confidence early on and then Mickey showed up.

Martin is coming around slowly

All three should stay another year, but IMO these kids have some other people in their ear telling them they are better than they really are and seem to be ready to cash in. Reminds me of the Brandon Bass fiasco. That team had a chance to win it all with BB in06'.
Sat with a ex scout last night at the game and he said Kentucky has 2-3 pros ready for next year, LSU none. He is who said our guys should stay one more year then they might be ready. He thought JOB is a good COLLEGE bb player, he is a tweener.

I believe all 3 come back in the end, and 2 guys choose to leave on their own due to playing time.

All 3 will play in the NBA and be drafted, love the people that said JOB3 wouldn't even get an NBA camp invite, where are they now, JOB3 will be a first round pick when he decides to come out.

LSU if they make the NCAAT could be the most dangerous 8 or lower seed and a possible Cinderella teams. Can match up with anyone athletically and put up the points.

I think the two freshmen definitely return.

I think JOB will likely go.

Jizz in my pants if they all stay.

Bass was trying to help out his family... Bit of a different situation.

Don't know how you play all of Bass, Davis, Thomas, Lazare, Rolle, Johnson.... He probably saw the Tyrus shaped writing on the wall.

And you're basing this off of literally nothing, I assume. Cool.
