re: Do you remember your first game in Tiger Stadium?

Cannot remember the specific date or game. Was twelve years old selling cups of Coca Cola in the student section for 25 cents each (yes, it was over 35 years ago). Would watch the game between sales. I remember we were doing well and towards the end a drunk student (redundant, I know) gave me $25 for my whole tray (which was worth $5).

I started going to every home game when I was five in '96, I hardly remember that season though, and the next season I mostly just remember going to the Florida game. I do think I went to a couple of games before '96 I just don't really remember. The first season I remember actually being at every single game would be '98, unfortunately. I remember even as a kid being very upset that I had to see them lose so much that season.

So the first game I remember going to is Houston in '96, but again I went to a couple of games before that, I just can't remember going to games at 3 or 4 years old (which is strange because I have lots of memories from 2 and even earlier, but oh well).

1995 vs North Texas. I think I was 9 years old. I remember being totally blown away by noise and spectacle of everything. Up until that point I'd see LSU on TV, usually getting beat. Being in the stadium, in that incredible environment, i was hooked for life.

Foggy Orange Bowl game against Florida State

It was 1963 during the Charlie Mac era. Don't remember the opponent. I just remember being in awe at the paintings in the old history department hallway depicting workers and industrialization in Louisiana. I was freaked out by that. We had to walk through the building every time on our way to the stadium. Ended up at LSU as undergrad with those memories burned in my psyche.

LSU vs Georgia, 98 or 99 remember I was wearing my brand new red shoes for kindergarten and the Georgia fans that sat near me were messing with me about them.

2003 vs. La. Tech It was a first for me, my dad and brother. My dad graduated from tech and took the whole family. It was a day I will never forget.

I don't remember the year but it was an ole miss game and Kevin Faulk was phemoninal that night!
