This situation is in no way like 2007.

LSU was getting weaker week by week that season and injuries were killing us. LSU probably overlooked that Arkansas team a bit.

There's no way to overlook a top 6 team this season, and this LSU team seems to keep getting stronger and stronger.. which is the exact opposite of the 2007 team.

You can say it's "my opinion is different" but you know damn well that's not the case. You wouldn't continuously state the opposite of the majority of the fans opinions, in any thread, if it was simply your "opinion." GFY

dude what is your problem? do you get this mad and rude when someone disagrees with you in real life? in case you haven't noticed, we are on a message board simply debating football. the topic of this thread is a question asking for opinions. I gave mine and it just so happens that it is a different opinion than yours. deal with it.

Where did I state I was mad, cross, livid or pissed?

I understand we are on a message board but you are not debating. Honestly, I don't think you're capable of debating. Like I stated a min ago, you constantly post the opposite of what many Tiger fans with brains state and when people call you on it, you simply say, "my opinion is different." Then ask for more stats and such if it the answer doesn't meet to your liking.

So when more than one poster tells you to GFY, deal with it.

I'm the last person that will get little kicks out of making people mad.

If you want to open the trolling door, then let's do that:

" Les Miles Audio on QB controversy... (Posted on 11/17/11 at 4:03 p.m. to LSUdm21)
Miles is full of it and the missing a couple of classes excuse is bs. Players miss classes here and there all the time and nothing is ever done about it unless they are just flat out not going. If Lee was indeed punished for it then he should have benched him the entire game. Miles's ego is going to be the biggest opponent for LSU this season and if they don't win it all with the talent they have then Miles's ego and stubborness will be to blame for it."

Les Miles Audio on QB controversy... (Posted on 11/17/11 at 4:15 p.m. to Tigercat)
The same people arguing for Jefferson are the same people who were JaMarcus Russell fans and we all know how that turned out for LSU.

I hope that I am wrong and I will eat my words for it, but a Jordan Jefferson led offense is doomed and deep down most of you know its true whether you'll admit it or not. Once a scrub, always a scrub.

Les Miles Audio on QB controversy... (Posted on 11/17/11 at 7:26 p.m. to LSUdm21)
That's the problem with some of your mindsets. This isn't just about football. Its about doing the right thing. Most programs would have booted them off the team if not for good for at least a season.

The chance LSU will lose a game before the end of the season.... (Posted on 11/17/11 at 8:53 p.m. to BRgetthenet)

This isn't about the dang qb's dude. Leave it alone, or go to a qb thread. There's like a million of 'em.

well how can anyone possibly make a legit estimate on chances of wins and losses whenever there are two completely different scenarios that could happen on offense on any given week at this point?

you're right. you're just attacking me for not being a fan of Jordan Jefferson and interrupting me and Saints debate.

I think its safe to say that is false and that the majority of the fan base is torn on the QB situation.

I'm not attacking you. I'm telling you, quite simply, to grow up.

Quit crying about it.

See what I mean? Incapable of debating. Where did I ever state I wanted JJ to start?

A little insecure, aren't we?

I agree. Let's see how long it takes for him to show up in another thread with his "opinion."

People are always so quick to point out stats, trends, scores and what not when discussing the qbs. But many of you continue to fail to see the big picture. Jefferson had like 167 yds passing last wk. Would JL have had THAT much more than JJ had he been the starter? Yeah, that's doubtful at best. What if Lee threw for 225 but threw another pick six? Some of you might be ecstatic over that, but do you think he would be able to trust himself throwing against Arky or Georgia in the next two wks? I think we need to just accept the fact that there are no more Auburns, floridas or tenns on the schedule. The real season began on nov 5, with too much at stake and too good a defense to be giving the damn game away. Like it or not, Jefferson has and will continue to be our SAFEST choice which far more important than stats. JJ's our set-up man and Lee is the closer, which suits me just fine. But some of you don't get that if we START OFF by turning the ball over like we did against bama, neither qb can lead us back.

One thing this guy fails to realize is that the offense last season as a whole was horrible under Gary Crowton. The line didn't block well, receivers weren't on the same page as the qb's & both qb's had a terrible qb coach.

Last season was about as bad it could have been offensively. Krag's arrival was allowed two below average qb's to improve to be average game managers. Neither Lee or Jefferson will do anything to wow you but there is enough talent around them not just to carry them but to dominate.

Neither qb is better then the other. I hope Les continues to use the rotation he started using because there was success with it.

Arky relies on sneaking up on us. This year we know what they're thinking. They'll be the one with all the pressure.
