After this weekend's games, I project Bama will stay in top 10, Florida is in the top 10, Auburn should be around 11, right outside the top 10 and Georgia in the top 4. If LSU beats Georgia next week, that'll be 4 teams currently in or very near the top ten they have beaten. How can LSU not be the consensus number 1 team?

My friend, we would all like to know this. There is simply no valid response to the contrary. And yet, here we are. I think LSU is the most motivated team in the country, aside from being the BEST team in the country, now.

Well if it took bumping LSU to #2 to motivate this defense, then I'm ok with it. D played great last night.

But I agree.....the talking heads have no excuses.

Texas was supposed to be a big win for us. Now it’s a joke. Thanks a-holes.

The selection committee is not only interested in the rankings today but for the future. Setting up the best future match ups. However I believe they screwed them selves. Expecting LSU to defeat Georgia then LSU regain #1 spot and Alabama beginning gifted the #4 with a win over Auburn. Eliminating any chance of there being an all SEC championship game. But now with an Auburn victory in iron bowl. If Georgia manages to get in....Well, screw the committee. Geaux Tigers.

It's all being set up to have LSU and OSU go at it for the natty. All about ratings and money.

The set up would hold with Tigers 1 and bucknuts 2.

This is dumb. The same is true If we were 1 and they were 2. Which is what it should be based on results.

I honestly think they were setting it up to avoid a potential LSU v Bama rematch at 1 vs 4. Now w Bama out of the way, who knows.

Honestly the way this season has gone, I would love to knock off Clemson too on the way to the Natty.

In the famous words of football movies:

"Remember the Titans" ......"Leave no doubt, let them remember the day they played the Tigers."

"The Program"......"kill em all, let the paramedics sort them out."

It was according to all the sports gurus at that time. We still poked the best looking girl on campus that day. Not our fault she later turned out to be fat and unattractive, so to say.

They jumped us after beating their first top 10 team. I think it's only fair LSU jumps them after beating #4 UGA.

If we want to play in Atlanta it does. Better to play a dramatically weaker #4 team while Ohio state and Clemson beat up on each other.

I don't think there is any nebulus setup by CFP to get OSU and LSU in the natty. It just happens that these 2 teams have shown to be the best 2 teams with the schedules and victories they racked up.

Had Bama beat Auburn, I'm not sure how they would handle Bama. If it would've been a convincing win I think Bama had a good chance at getting in depending on what the Pac 10 and Big 12 CG would have done.

I think it would've been a big debate nationwide. Auburn thankfully saved the nation from that debate. The #1 seed will definitely have a much easier path
