Full circle. Makes sense. Hell yes I would take him back. 100mil for 4 years. And 30 mil nil money. Boom CFNC 2026'

If I’m him I would be wary of destroying my reputation if the losses started piling up. Too much people rooting for him to fail

Yes sir without a doubt. We need his philosophy, professionalism, discipline and attention to detail.
This! He is the f***ing goat.
Possibly as an advisor, overseer of football operations, any title needed to right the ship if not the HC

He isnt coming out of retirement. He has zero desire to return to coaching.
My daughter works for his Mercedes Benz dealership and he loves going there and to ESPN and then home with Miss Terry.

Maybe he does not coach, what if he is an advisor, given enough power to fix this mess. Nobody really knows what he wants. Maybe he doesn’t come back. Maybe he misses it & does.
Never say never

I'm not sure at this point. Don't think you will be getting the Bama Nick.

I certainly don't. I understand he's the GOAT but he's too old.
We need to go with a younger coach who has adapted/willing to adapt to this new era of college athletics. Saban got out because he didn't want to deal with all the BS. Throwing a bunch of money at someone like that is likely to result in disaster. I also think Saban understands there's really no benefit to him coming back, except for the money, which he already has tons of.
When was the last time an old coach came back to coach college football and was successful? I understand none of them were Saban, but I think the results would likely end up the same.

Doesn't matter. They don't have the money to hire him. They can't pay what they owe to BK.

because he was no longer willing to engage in the direction that college football was going?
That and the work that was required from him was much harder than it used to be. Which is again why he is not going to be coming out of retirement to Coach at LSU. Its not happening.

Saban would have more power than the governor
Posted on 11/12/25 at 7:54 am to DatNolaClap
Saban will come here be the head football coach, then run for governor, thus eliminating Jeff from screwing things up for the football team!

He would do a good job here but he’s 74.
If anything he’s just going to be a bandaid and we will have to hire another coach in 3 years.
