I pull for them because it's part of the scenario that allows us to exact revenge. We should not have lost that game.

Ultimately both lose would be the best sceaniro. Don’t know if Shaw can pull it off.

we can worry about that after we beat alabama. or not.

the mountain to climb is still very large. if we can get to the game, we can win the game, against whoever.

Does it matter?. LSU has to win out to make the college football playoff. I would rather get a rematch with Florida to seek revenge in the SEC championship game if LSU were to make it there.

I’m torn. On the one hand I would want a rematch with Florida if we win out, and on the other hand the talking heads would push the “LSU lost to the only elite team on their schedule” narrative for a week.

Whatever. Just beat Bama.

I sure do.
We avenge our only loss and avoid a re-match home game against a UGA team looking to do the same.
Don’t fear UGA but from a player motivation standpoint it’s UF all day.

I wish these threads would stop. We don't want UF to ever win anything ever. On a more technical point...we want to face UGAs defensive front and not UFs. Our o line is our weakness and we matchup better against UGA.

I'd prefer that we play Kentucky, but right now I'm not worried about what happens on December 1st.

we want anybody but UGA to win the East. If we can get to Atlanta, we don't want a rematch against a team we crushed. Beating a good team twice in one year is very difficult.

I'd rather a rematch against a team that beat us, so we can have the emotional revenge angle.

Go Gators.

A rematch with a team you have lost to is much better than a rematch with a team you spanked. We can beat Florida too. Never should of lost to them.

Game has absolutely no effect on LSU.. but seriously hope UGA destroys them, further proving LSU losing to UF was a fluke and making our win against UGA more impressive

If LSU and UGA both win out, and LSU wins the natty, then there will be a few parallels with the 2003 season:

-unexpectedly beat a Top 10 UGA team in TS early in regular season
-lose a very winnable game vs UF (although ‘03 was in TS)
-beat UGA for 2nd time in SEC-CG
-beat what many are calling the best college team ever assembled (‘03 Oklahoma was being hailed that before Big 12-CG loss, Bama being called that now)
