Do we have enough elite skill players this year on offense to make a run at championship?

Ok lets talk football. I am picking a game to travel too with my crew this year and I am looking at the Alabama at Tuscaloosa. I want to know other than Boutte what other proven players do we expect to step up or incoming freshman do we have that can give us more weapons. We have Kole Taylor at TE and some older guys at Wr that need to step then we have Davis and Emery but they cant stay healthy. I need confirmation from the most knowledgeable fanbase do we stand a chance at Alabama this year. My take this is the year to get Alabama since they lost so much to the NFL.

Impossible to know until after the season starts and we get a few games under our belt. Do I think LSU will be better in 2021 than in 2020? Yes, I do, but at the same time, I don't know how much better.

2020 but for the shoe throw was going to be a 3 - 7 season and nothing short of a disaster
2021 will be better but who knows how much improvement with the OC and DC never having called the plays before ....

I don't think Cole Taylor is ready to be an every down player. I expect a lot of 5 wide/flex RB and an extra offensive lineman in goal line situations.

Realistically, no. Not on offense.

Did any fan think we had the skilled players pre 2019 to win it all.
Did we have any receiver at that time that had proven he had skills of Boutte.
We didn't think we had a quality running back, then Helaire stepped up.
We won't know until we take the field vs UCLA.

We are loaded at WR. I hear a lot of folks saying Boutte is the only proven one, but that’s not so. We have several guys who were good last year, particularly Koy Moore and Jaray Jenkins, but Boutte is so friggin good that they look pedestrian by comparison.

I really like Kole Taylor. He was not ready last year. You can bet he will be this year. It would be nice to have a bell cow at RB, but we have some good talent there. QB? I don’t know.

We will always have the skill players from a talent perspective to make a run. The key is to put them in a position and scheme to magnify their strengths.

With that said, I think our success on offense hinges on offensive line play. Both Brennan and Max are capable of leading this team with the weapons they have in Peetz's scheme but they can't be running for their life.

IF we stay healthy on offense, yes we do. Dont be surprised to see Jack Bech early & often. Kiner is a terrific talent & will give Emery & Davis Price a run for their money. Palmer, Jenkins, Kirklin & Moore will all make plays. There is enough talent. We just cant afford a bunch of injuries.

No, but if anyone can get the most out of the team, it’s Orgeron

O being on our sideline is worth 10 points every week by itself. The guy gives us a schematic advantage that you just can’t overestimate.

Yes we have 2 QB, experienced OL/DL 2 all american CB, All American kicker. New coaches that have NFL experience which are all hungry to make a name for them selves. We had spring ball/ Fall ball so I think we do. Gotta have faith

Absolutely yes. We will make a run. Max Johnson will lead the way along with a very good defense
