We may or may not get Fisher. Our main area of concern has been offensive scheme and qb development.

Let's look at this:

Miles- strong recruiter that specializes in ________.

Fisher- strong recruiter that specializes in OC and qb development.

I kinda understand the OP. I was happy to see Jimbo go. I thought the offense underperformed considering the talent esp in 2006. But since then Jimbo has done great things and the LSU offense gets worse and worse with the exception of 2007. So I blame Les. After all, Jimbo was there for 2001.

I remember offenses that moved the ball. I remember QBs that developed. I'm not a big Jimbo fan, but anything he had was better than this.

2006 Jamarcus is the best LSU QB I've seen.

this just goes to show that fans can be idiots with unrealistic expectations and let emotion and anger after a loss or a bad game cloud judgement.

In 2006 LSU was #9 in scoring, #11 in total yards/game, #18 in passing yards/game and #31 in rushing yards nationally and #1 in the SEC it scoring and total yards, #3 in passing yards and 2nd in rushing. How the hell is that "under achieving"?

People have inflated opinions of Mauk. Game manager. That's it.

A game manager that got the ball to his playmakers and won a national title. That's what Jimbo was able to do with a "game manager".

I'm wondering if you even started watching LSU football before 2011.

We already know that you can't tell good QB play from poor QB play, Les.

I love this shite so much. I love it when people try to remember the past and say some of our best coaches and quarterbacks ever actually sucked balls.

I love it when this board rewrites history. Auburn 2005 was one of the most conservatively called games I've witnessed7-6.

The refs were bad, but Jimbo was being destroyed by LSU fans.

I would take 2002 version of Marcus Randall over anything I've seen at lsu since 2008 with the exception of Mett

Ok I just looked at his stats again, maybe not

Get the year and the score right, dummy. Yeah that game sucked and everyone was frustrated but Auburn was pretty fricking good on defense and LSU was fricked 12 times and once on Sunday by the officials which continuously killed drives. LSU moved the ball pretty well that day.

How about the second half of the season 2006 when the LSU offense was world beaters and LSU was the best team in the country?

What a fricking idiot. Jamarcus was a hell of a QB and Mauck took this team to a championship.

Not to mention since he's been at FSU he's had Winston, Ponder and Manuel all drafted in the 1st round. The man has coached two #1 overall draft pick QBs.

frickin' dolt.
