Do people lie about LSU fans?
People are scrupulously honest when they tell stories about opposing team fan bases.
Just as they are about hot women they have slept with, the size of fish that they have caught, and cool things they did with an aircraft.

Yes, LSU fans in general are pathetic evil people. I have a personal true story from one of my best friends mother's. They live in Mississippi and are Rebels fans. Verbally abused, cussed out and ridiculed in public at a gas station, minding her own business but wearing a Rebels shirt. Most even on here are shite heads. Embarrassing

the tales OU fans tell of the 2003 national title game weekend are something to see
I think largely stims from them assuming they were going to win vs an LSU fanbase that was treating that week as mardi gras
OU also has a ton of stick up their arse old fans
I have been in the South endzone for decades now, several seasons in direct line of fire of anything that would come from upper deck SEZ. Legitmentaly never seen anything dropped, thrown or otherwise at opposing fans.
At the same time i have seen countless reports online, using after LSU wins, of non-stop bottles being tossed at the away band. Has that happened? almost certainly, but i have never seen it

They usually go something like this, typically on an A&M board the week before a football game. "30 years ago at Tiger Stadium, I was attending the game with my 95 year old grandma and some 5 year old LSU punk Tiger baited us and then proceeded to kick our asses after hitting us with piss balloons.. His father just watched and laughed".

Yes, 15 years ago and father back it was hostile. It’s sad what we have become. Pretty much a piped in concert. Our new fans have no idea

One 2005 Katrina make up game vs Tennessee on a Monday (Coach Miles’ 1st / lost in OT after pretty solid lead 1st half) saw all of that myself, and I’m an LSU fan. I was told I should not take my then 5yo to a game. They need to hear F bombs as no bubble life or some such.
Hot arse day with lots of drinking I’m sure had nothing to do with it.
But, overall, LSU fans are great and that chit gets blown out of proportion. But it ain’t zero. Fact. It’s the idiots.

People lie about everything, but I have witnessed some LSU fans being complete asses to opposing fans!
Is what it is and something I wouldn’t be shocked to see anywhere else in America

I’ve definitely seen some rough housing and vulgar trash talking coming from our students towards opposing fans. But that’s gonna happen with every schools students. Ours may be a little more inebriated though.

I’ve never seen any real bad stuff. Honestly seen more fights between lsu fans than us & them fights. I’ve been to road games at every SEC stadium except South Carolina and the only place I’ll never return to is Gainesville.

I have seen ALL SEC schools do some pretty nasty stuff to opposing fans!
LSU is not immune.

I once heard Tiger Stadium was the best home atmosphere in college football, however when I watch LSU on TV, half their stadium is filled.

There’s a real good chance all those things happened. Every fan base has classless trashy idiots who would def think that’s righteous. We prob got more than our share.

LSU fans are a bunch of turds.

The worst I've seen was the 2024 UCLA @ LSU football game.
A couple of hammered baws were heckling every UCLA fan that walked by. Usually a "tiger bait" or something adjacent.
Then, 4 UCLA students walked by them. 3 girls, and one trans girl (man wearing woman's clothes).
The two guys in unison just immediately start chanting "fagggot!" at the trans
I was cracking up. Mainly because I can only imagine those poor students going back to California and telling that story for the rest of their lives as a reason to never return to Baton Rouge
