It's important. Although I think expectations have half way been been met this year. People forget we actually weren't suppose to be that good this year with the schedule and losing 10 starters.

The most important game so far this year (only because of how things have worked out). I'd rather see us win this game with a Florida loss, than lose to Georgia and have beaten Florida. Anyone want to trade spots with Auburn (who we barely beat)?
Georgia is ripe for an upset...just like WE were looking back. Not many people expect us to win this game...hell, even LSU fans WHO USE THIS SITE (WTF?), which is perfect timing for LSU to upset. ESPN dropped gameday, odds against us, humbled by Florida game...blame spreading all around, injuries, lots of people scared of what's ahead. Tigers don't hunt well without cover, they ambush. This game could be something special

This. Orgeron’s career can pivot on this game. This is a “skin on the wall” game. He doesn’t really have any of those and that’s why he doesn’t have the fanbase unified. It’s also why he’s struggling to keep top LA talent home.
The importance of this game for the coach and the program can’t be understated.

I do. This is gonna determine what direction this season takes and Eaux's future here as well. Loss this Saturday and the wheels are gonna come off. Win and this could be a special year

I think people realize, on an intellectual level, what the game means.
If the question arises out of confusion over a lack of enthusiasm about the game, that is a different issue.
Most LSU fans do not believe in Da CoachO and are unwilling to make the emotional investment in his prospects of actually winning this game, or the others like it. Just glad we made it to 5-1, but expecting a long six weeks ahead.

That doesn't mean anything. No one can predict the future. All you know is LSU has a great shot at beating the # 2 team in the country and our home field will play an important role as this team grows. We owe it to this program to bring our best and everybody knows........there is no place like tiger stadium.
