Do our fans realize how important this game is?

Yes losing to Florida sucks. I do not like them. But if you win this weekend it nullifies the lost. Right back in the drivers seat as you say. You can use a loss to catapult your season. Saban has done this with his Bama teams almost every year.
Someone said it in another thread and I agree. You cant be all or nothing. We can not lose focus on the goal. Its all still in front of us. We have to bring it as a fanbase this weekend and let the chips fall where they may.
This feels like 2003 Georgia LSU game.

Game is absolutely huge
Win it, and I think it’s safe to say LSU goes into the Bama game 7-1
Lose it handily, and it could be 5-3 heading into bama, which means 5-4 likely

This game is paramount to win, it puts us right back in the top 5-10 spots.

This is a game bigger than a game. A chance to catapult back into national relevance vs mediocrity for the next few years. Massive game for recruiting as well.

Yes. Everyone realizes how big this game is.
I think most people are still aggravated about losing to Florida, and rightfully so. That took away an real chances we had at making the playoffs.
We have to win out now, and the schedule is honestly too tough, and our team isn't quite at that level yet, for us to do that.

I think everyone understands the importance.
Until LSU plays a complete game though, will it matter?
Win against UGA puts LSU right back in the mix and all the goals are still there despite the Fla setback.

I’m not trying to be a downer, bc I love me some LSU football, but IF we win out still, we still gotta best bama twice, they will always get the mulligan game.
To many fans see it as to important, and then if we lose your in here bitching about the playcalljng, the fans, the piped in music, the color socks coach O was wearing.
Just watch the game and enjoy it...
Holy shite!!! I think I’m maturing and growing up. Haha

The game is absolutely important. Hell, it could even be a defining win.
LSU can win it if gets some breaks and it executes well.

Definitely a state of the program type game. Winning sends a huge statement across the SEC and nationally. Huge game for recruits in attendance as well.

But if we win than your outlook will change. No matter that we lost to Florida, minus Bama, Georgia is still one of the best teams in the country.

Biggest game of O's career imo

Umm... my outlook isn't changing.
We have enough talent and a good enough coaching staff to win all but 1 game left on our schedule. We have UGA and Miss St at home.
2 losses won't get us in the playoffs.
My outlook is simple -
We have about 3 or 4 guys on offense that played significant snaps for us before this season.
Charles, Brumfield, Moreau and Carter, the fullback.
The rest of the guys are new and gaining experience as we go along.
The OC is new. They are all still improving and finding their way.
Most of the faces in the secondary are new.
This year's team is young. If my math is right, there are 8 Seniors or so on scholarship.
The only schedule I can remember being this difficult was the 2011 schedule.
We are well positioned for a playoff run in 2019.

We win out, means we are undefeated in the West, and beat bama. We win the head to head tie breaker and likely play GA a 2nd time, not Bama.

Bama will get into playoffs with one loss to LSU dumbass. So yes we would have to beat them twice just like in ‘11
Not in the seccg, but in the playoffs
