Sick and tired of people complaining about the fans.
If it's not one thing, it's another.
All this pussy talk about fans leaving early. Or fans not sitting down. Or student section altering the songs.
Really, chill the frick out.
If you pay for a ticket, you can show up and leave at whatever time, if you want to stand, stand. If you want to change the words to the song, go ahead.

If I want to stand I will. On big plays I get up and cheer. If you don't like it oh well

Guy's I have to apologize to fans who leave in the 3rd. quarter! The way the Tigers played in the first half, I would have left at the half. Les's needs to get his shite together or the gumps will beat us by 20 points!

Were you the guy that was yelling for everyone to stand up and cheer and then sat down right after?

Stand up and sound off like you got a pair. I tell people to get off their hands and make some noise. He late great Beno Cook said "2 things get stronger at night Dracula and the Lsu Tigers." He said this because of people like you. If I see people sitting on their hands against AM on a 3 rd and short I will politely tell them to get off their hands and I will scream loud enough for 3 people. I can't talk for 3 days after any decent Lsu game.

I find it hilarious when morons that don't want to stand go to a public sporting event with over 90k in the stadium. They want you to sit down but they don't offer a solution to the 4000 people in front of you that are standing up preventing you from viewing the field when they stand up. I just don't understand why people go to a sporting event expecting all in front of them to sit. As stated, those people should stay home as they are likely the people that won't make a sound during the game at all.

Fans can stand up the entire game, if they wish......to be just like the Aggies. It's their tradition, not ours.
Our players don't care (or see) if you stand or not. Just yell loud! It's noise that makes a difference, not whether you are standing or not.

Listen Ryan, you were told to sit down because you were standing up and screaming during the FURMAN game. Games like this bring out all of the Livingston trash because the person they do cash jobs for gave them tickets to the shittiest game of the year. I know you won't make it to the A&M game, but I assure you that nobody will be sitting for that one. Sorry people that go to every game ruined your one chance to see a game in Tiger Stadium.

There was a fine specimen last night. He was hammered (totally acceptable), but standing up at all the wrong times to cheer (for example on 2nd and long, but then he would sit down and look at his phone for 3rd and short). Flailing around hitting people on all sides. And finally he slipped and smashed his head on a seat.
He had the perfect New Iberia haircut, and I would bet my house he is from Livingston.

for the past few weeks people have complained about a lack of support from the fans, either not showing up or leaving early. tonight I was at the game cheering on the tigers and what was I told? TO SIT DOWN!!
Doe standing up make you louder? NO, so you were just blocking the veiw of the person behind you who may or may not be unable to stand for 8 hours at a time, and still wants to see the game.

Pathetic - been seeing that the last couple of years.

Success breeds contentment, which breeds laziness. Nothing new...there is no place fans can enjoy being unless it's playing against Bama, a team with Johnny Football, a coach like Spurrier, or BCS implications.
The fun part is over. That was 2000-2011. Since the ironic meltdown loss to Bama in New Orleans and watching the Tide mull through everyone, fans are stuck in a gap...nothing to be really pissed off about and nothing to be extremely upbeat about.
Most of us knew going into this season that A&M and possibly Florida would be electric. The other games would be lame. The atmosphere of the stadium, in turn, has turned into a gathering place of status symbol seekers...the new age of fan has become showmanship, season tickets, and "I was there" mentality. I recall the 1997 (e.g.) season and it was the complete opposite. Every game was loud and the outcome unpredictable. 1997 gave us the roller coaster. 2012-2013 gives us the one home game where everyone wants to WATCH and be INVOLVED in the game as opposed to just being there.
The solution? YOU have to please the fans, unfortunately. Stop playing cupcakes and get an OOC rivalry going ala A&M and Notre Dame in the 1980's. Play Oklahoma every year. Play Washington. Do not play Furman, Towson State, Wofford, The Citadel, or University of Indiana at Purdue. These games are why you were told to sit down as opposed to cheering. What was the REAL reason people went to the game last night (it was not to cheer loudly)? You were told to sit down because the schedule dictated to the lazy fan who dictated the attitude that he thought you should have. Pathetic, but welcome to new age LSU. Fans cannot be happy unless it's a "Going to the Moon" game and atmosphere. For Furman, the objective was to sit, eat, play with grandkids, drink, wear new LSU shirt and cap, take many pics for social media, and be home in the Lazyboy by 11 pm.
The only way to prevent moments like you had to endure is simply listed above. Play meaningful games and go undefeated/win SEC west and beyond. If Bama and A&M beat us, you will see a lethargic effort to even get an update from an IPhone when it's Hogs to play.

This is the wrong viewpoint to have. You need to respect the people around you and if you're the only "stander" in your section, you need to try to keep your seat.
We all love the Tigers, and you shouldn't disrupt the game for the other Tiger fans around you whose game viewing methods aren't the same as yours.

9 straight games was absurd
Not sure any SEC can afford to play high level out of conference games much longer.
We do start with another tough one next season - Wisconsin??

totally agree. And, is it that hard to yell while sitting down? I was given tickets from friends so I sat most of the game except for big plays. I also yelled a lot while sitting down. You standing up does not make you a better fan.

This. I get to make one game a year and I am cheering and screaming and standing the whole time. Grant it, that one game is always a big one. This season it's aTm and I will be full blown crazy for 60 minutes!!
