New bats have a lot to do with the change in energy you described. They took away the you never know what can happen next excitement from college baseball

I had no idea about this rule and I was thinking of going with some family members. frick that shite.

Yeah, that's what I'm starting to think. Just like the "fans" on this board who sit at home and complain about the empty seats they see at the game and/ or ridicule the fans who are there.

I really think it's the new Box. I'll probably get bashed but that's just me. The new Box lacks a lot of the energy and character that the old Box had. A game like that at the old Box would have been crazy. The crowd would have been rocking.

Well no shite, the old box had almost three thousand less seats.

To be honest, as a non-local fan, my impression has always been that the tickets are pretty much locked up by the locals...true or not, that is my impression and as a result, I don't make much of an effort to travel in for games...

While your impression is correct, there are fans always selling tickets to every home game with the possible exception of post season games.
Plus you can always buy an SRO ticket at the stadium and then sit in any of the 3,000 empty seats available.

So, is it against the rules to walk around holding up two fingers letting the sellers come to you?

It pisses me off because it is not easy to come by tickets but these shite as season ticket holders don't show

Season tickets are hard to come by.

But if you want to go to a random game on any given night, lack of a ticket is no excuse not to. They're everywhere. If nothing else, go buy an SRO ticket and find an empty bleacher seat.

I don't know but I've never been told to stop doing it on the few occasions when I'm trying to help a buddy get tickets.

I've never seen or heard of that happening except for regional or super regional games.
