He is definitely part of the problem. He doesn't have the arm strength required to make them defend the entire field. That's why the safetys were playing up because there is no real danger of a deep pass

So true. I watched my son this weekend in Texas play a nationally ranked team and he looked like he would have done better than the entire lsu o-line. Was terrible. I don’t blame JD. Lack of execution across the board on the offense and the defense was worn out due to lack of execution.

No coach would start the guy who the staff doesn’t give the team the best chance to win.
