Didn't we experiment with Nuss in game 2 last year?

It's been a while so I can't remember but I think he was given an opportunity.

Maybe it's time again

It wasn't really an experiment, the game was quickly out of hand like Saturday will be.

Nuss will not be given meaningful snaps this year unless Jayden gets injured. Will not happen. It’s JD’s turn. Nuss’s turn is next year.

Yeah but tader you know damn well that McDaniels isn’t coming out the game brother. Just let it go and let all of these McDaniels lovers have their last season with him. Then we Geaux 10-2 next year and then national champs the next.

Should LSU score early and often against Grambling Nuss will get some serious playing time in 2nd half. Not many fans will see him, though. Empty stadium.

Unfortunately I think you are correct and I think Brian Kelly has made that pretty clear.

It doesn’t matter who is QB if our OL continues to be pushed around like high school kids

Which is insane. JD has literally started for 5 straight seasons.

Give someone else a chance.

this is why you need someone that can make a read on the defense and get rid of the ball quickly
evidently jd cannot read a defense holds on too long and doesnt know when to throw it away…

What's insane is people think that he would be improved this year. He is the same as he was in year 1. He has never improved.

I'm sick of Watching JD, be glad when he is gone

I’m not defending JD, however he had quite a few plays that never gave him time to do anything.

Saturday NOT MY CONCERN BOTH WILL PLAY AND WIN EASILY...My concern is the following week and we cannot have a relapse to FSU...It's coaching and lack of effort in second half...they looked out of shape...

The game that he threw a pick 6 against the jags? Stick with referencing how he played against Georgia would be my advice. Also the only way you see Nuss get the starting job is if JD gets hurt or we lose to MSU and Ark…I guess some of our fans want that just to see Nuss

Well he has had a year to mature. I can tell you from raising kids his age that one year can be a huge difference (or not). So I think it would be reasonable to give him a chance. What are we going to do? Lose? Well we did that anyway so the worst that could possibly happened already happened without him seeing the field.

Jd is not the problem here. Offensive line got exposed, corners got exposed and Perkins is out of position. Lacy needs to sit as well
