no, never. saban was the virgin i had always wanted. even tho he ran circles around me, i never said a boo-ger thing about him. i was always happy w/ saban. i supported him after his boys let us down after all those terrible looses. i still love him even tho he left me for a richer woman. and just b/c he married my sister, i still love the wonderful guy. he such a wonderful lover. he was always faithful, he was always perfect.

oh, excuse me, was i sounding like a saban ranturd?

Attended school during the Hallman years, so "No." Was pissed at the '02 Arky game, but difference is that Saban had built a solid program and earned the goodwill. Miles backed into a MNC after screwing the pooch. Miles burned whatever goodwill he had a long time ago. BTW, Bradley Dale Peveto's Northwestern State Demons just finished 0-12. Miles sucks and his friends suck.

I joined TD.com in 2003 and I don't even know if it was around yet in 2002 but I could imagine a similar meltdown on here after Arkansas threw those 2 long passes on our Prevent Defense to win and keep us out of the SEC Championship game. I'm not defending Miles nor am I bashing Saban. I'm sure, though, that people that thought Saban wasn't the right hire at the time, were calling for his head after that game.

Compared to not even being aware you hadn't actually gotten the timeout with 29 or so seconds on the clock and THEN, not making a plan for one of the OBVIOUS possibilities on the next play, the Arkansas 03 game was a display of high genius.

And that's saying something cause yeah, that game freakin blew chunks and that "prevent" did just that.

Didn't see the UAB game, but it was also his first year. Iowa, are you talking about the last second TD? Did you want him to call timeout even though there was 6 seconds left and Iowa was out of timeouts? During the game he switched quarterbacks once he realized that Marcus Randall couldn't get it done. During the 2004 season when Justin Vincent wasn't getting the job done he puts in Broussard and Addai. Do you remember the Kentucky game in 2007 where Charles Scott rushes for over 100yds in the first half only to be benched for Jacob Hester the entire second half?

So Miles should have benched Jefferson this year for not getting the offense moving? I mean, he wasn't getting it done. Lee should have been playing, right?

Not to mention, in 2002, after VaTech, this fanbase was yelling for Saban to get his head out of his arse and start Randall because obviously Mauck wasn't a good QB, much less a great one. And how Saban couldn't see that was beyond them.

In 2003, after Florida, the fanbase was screaming about how Saban was not a good gameday couach, makes horrible decisions, doesn't manage the game well, the team wasn't disciplined, and he handcuffed Jimbo Fisher, instead of letting him open up the offense.

Starting to see the similarities?

He was also never forced to start a 3rd and 4th string

You don't remember him starting Rick Clausen in a narrow win against Ole Miss? He was also forced to start Marcus Randall when he failed to take Matt Mauck out of during the blow-out win at Florida. Just sayin'...

I recall a thread on here about LSU being poorly coached when they were struggling against Troy in 2004.

Wait a minute, you mean to tell me the almighty saban made a mistake? You gotta be shittin' me!

You will NEVER get any of these "Les must be fired" idiots to understand any reasoning! Those dumbasses are not happy unless they're miserable. So, you trying to bring logic and reasoning here will only get you bashed for being a "homer". I'm laughing my arse of right now because it's going to be hilarious when reality sets in and those certain stupid asses finally HAVE to realize the Les isn't going anywhere!! I'm not defending him at all. But for these "know it all jackasses" to start 50 billion threads a day say who they think the next coach will be, or Les WILL be fired and here's why...it's comical and downright ignorant!! So the moral of the story is that you will not be able to have a decent conversation with any of those IDIOTS who think they know it all! You want to really piss them off...just keep reminding them that Les WILL NOT be fired and sit back and watch these fools come out of the woodwork!!

I think you are on to something with a portion of our fanbase, and posters here. Not a lot,but a disturbing amount. In fact, oddly enough the way the final minute unfolded was probably euphoria for some of our fans.

You hit the nail on the head there sonnyboy.
There are a minority of fans here on the board and everywhere who THINK they know football and are screaming for LM to be fired. They most likely loved the way the game unfolded last Saturday because they somehow feel vindicated.
Well, here is the bottom line for all of those fans.
Yes, LM did make a bonehead mistake by not calling TO. So did every other coach and player on the field. ALL of them had their heads a mile up their collective asses. Plenty of blame to go around.
Did you know that you all sound like your daddies and granddaddies and uncles who used to scream "help Mac pack?" They were a bunch of stupid pieces of shite and it looks like they bred a bunch of stupid pieces of shite to carry on the tradition of being stupid.
ALL of you could fit your collective knowledge of football onto the point of a pin.
Grow up, and more importantly SHUT UP, until you can show something resembling common sense. That means unless you have played or coached football at something more than bench warming a HS football team, you need to SHUT YOUR STUPID HOLES.
You are, all of you, a joke. And a bad one at that.
