Jay inherited a dumpster fire of a pitching staff. We tried to piece things together with the portal but most of those guys can’t stay consistent . If you give us back just 2/4 pitcher we lost to injury we likely win the last two series.

Just accept this team for who they are and be excited when they make a run in the post season. Realistic expectations for Jay is to consistently get us to omaha.

frick off

This is year 2 and this is his bullpen, and they're getting worse as the season progresses.

That's on him and Wes.

No one is defending this coaching staff right now including media personalities who have good relationships with them. That should tell you how dumb your position is

Gervase and reyz were reliable 90% of the time. These guys we trot out there now are south land conference type guys.

If you take Skenes out of the picture, last year's staff was better.

Excuses. Gotta pump that sunshine. There are no excuses for not showing one bit of improvement with the bull pen. We have actually regressed. Jay’s in game decisions have been horrible since the SC series.

reyz

He had been good all year but he was one of the biggest reasons we didn’t get out of the USM regional because he folded just as hard as the rest of the bullpen(similar to what ours is doing this year)

I will always watch and pull for this team but I have no confidence in Jay game management skills to get us to Omaha. To get to Omaha you manger has to push the right buttons at the right time and I don't see Jay being able to do that with this lackluster staff after Skenes and Floyd.

Jay had every opportunity to get rid of CPM's holdovers, plus bring his own pitchers in. I keep going back and referring to the Auburn series. Auburn has a group of nobody's and all they did was throw strikes. LSU isn't anywhere near that, and it's been going on all season, with no answers

Gervase, Reyzelman, and Vietmeier were all better than anything LSU has at the backend this year.

People forget about Vietmeier, but he was solid last year.

I didn't understand why Jay didn't do everything possible to get Gervase back...and maybe he did.

Seemed to me Jay thought he had the cavalry coming and well...
