People on here hate Schloss but he’s a damn good coach. If he had coached all of those years at Texas instead of TCU, he’d have multiple natty’s imo. Btw this isn’t a knock on Jay as I’m very happy he’s our coach
Do you all REALLY understand Schloss and reasons why he did what he did? In no part of the world would he have left TCU for TAMU except NIL. They, like Vandy, had a major advantage with scholarships and reporting being a private university. Secondly, he doesn’t leave TAMU for UT except the TCU AD moved to Tajas and he was great friends with him. It was shite how he did that even if I can’t stand Aggie.
Tejas will shite the bed come playoffs

His TCU teams just weren’t quite good enough to win a championship. I mean if Jay coached at Baylor for 15 years and had the same accomplishments as Schloss did at TCU, I’d say that’s impressive. And I’d probably say he could have won multiple championships at LSU if he had coached there instead of Baylor for 15 years.
I see what you’re saying brotha. I just think differently. Happy and Blessed Easter to you and yours.

Right you are! I agree entirely.

What are you babbling about? I understand exactly why Schloss did what he did.

What’s up RB. Are you going to tell me what I said that you disagree with or did you just see my name and feel the need to comment?

You tried to claim Schloss would have multiple nattys at Texas when they had a legendary coach who couldn’t win multiple nattys.
We can start there if you’d like.

I do believe that. Who is the legendary head coach that couldn’t win multiple nattys that you are referring to?

Jay won us a title, who fricking cares?

I’m assuming Augie. But he did win two in Austin.

Texas A&M didn't make a regional in 2021, so as soon as their season ended they canned Childress and grabbed Schlossnagle.

This board finally stopped sucking on Tim Corbin’s dick.
Then they moved to Vitelos dick.
I didn’t get the memo on Schloss yet.
I guess whoever is doing the best at the present time is who we should have hired instead of who we hired.
Posted on 4/19/25 at 8:50 pm to Jack Daniel
That’s just dumb. Did you see what he did to A&M last year. What a turd.

Correct. Which is why he can’t possibly be talking about Augie. I legitimately have no idea who he is talking about.

He wanted 1 job and he knew his advantages were over plus he wanted to stay in Texas. I know that for a FACT. I know mutual friends.

You said had he gone to Texas instead of TCU. Can you tell me when he started at TCU and how many nattys Augie won after that?
Hint: Augie’s titles before Schloss was even a head coach are irrelevant.
Just a reminder:

So unless you’re trying to say Schloss is a better coach than Augie…..

Do I think it’s possible that a 45 year old Jim Schlossnagle might have been a better coach than a 75 year old Augie? Sure.
Posted on 4/19/25 at 9:09 pm to Jack Daniel
I gues he wanted a guy who would win a. championship not lose 2 championship series and negotiate a contract with a different school during one of them.
