I heard this on Jordy's show, if this is true, then our freshmen tackles are waaayyyyy better than I though they were. That is just hard to believe.

He’s having a pretty rough year in general, but don’t take any credit away from the tackles. They are playing GREAT

I saw him put one nasty arse move on will Campbell for a sack.

Then I didn’t see him do shite else. Insane that a true freshmen LT played like that against a top 10 NFL draft pick with 3 years of college experience

Think he had 1 sack and the other bookend had 1.5 sacks. All in all the freshmen played pretty well

And I'm pretty sure Coach Kelley said in an interview that after that sack, Will came up to him and apologized for the whiff, saying he'd "figured it out" and "it won't happen again".

That's huge for any player, but how much moreso for an 18-19 year old who was playing highschool ball last year and surely hadn't seen rushers like that in his life

That’s such a positive attitude from Campbell. Him and Emery both have that junkyard dawg mentality

He's the "big Whitt" for a whole new generation.

Nice to know there's that kind of hope for the future.

LSU’s two All Pro Olinemen at the Bama game said, they couldn’t imagine going up against Will Anderson as freshmen.

I don't know Alabama's usual alignment, but Turner was over Campbell and Anderson on Jones for about 80-90% of the snaps. They would occasionally swap and for a handful of times they overload a side with both of them. The sack by Anderson over Campbell provided Kelly's anecdote of Campbell explaining what happened, and what steps he would take to fix it, and that it would never happen again...EVER!

That is why Saban was reaming his star out on bench
Didn’t look like he took it to well
Probably thinking screw you Saban I am waiting on draft now

it really was a sick move by anderson, seasoned vet on rookie type of shite

when he's good he's good but man he's been absent a good bit this year

a dude like perkins, who i hate comparing since he's a freshman, creates as much havoc, if not more

Props to our two true Fr OTs.

Will Anderson should be in the NFL (and the guy seems like a class act).

He's playing not to get hurt, can you blame him, he's likely the first overall pick

Young is overrated, he struggles mightily with pressure and the NFL can bring that

He struggles with pressure because his offensive line is average and his WRs suck. Justin Herbert had a similar slump at Oregon after his weapons left

I’m happy Will got that learning moment out the way.

I also don’t think you’re mistaken in saying Perkins is wreaking more havoc than Anderson this year
