I don’t understand. On the list of things to be upset about in this game, the 2-point conversion should be way, way down the list. It’s not even on my list.
Next time, stop them. It’s not Georgia’s job to keep the score down at that point.

Pretty simple, if you don’t like it, stop it.

Again from people that never coached or played which is why you don’t understand. There are written rules and then understood rules like u don’t run up score on SEC teams for no reason, you don’t help other teams against SEC teams, you don’t disparage other SEC teams or coaches in public, etc.

In the era of analytics, going for 2 isn't running up the score. There's very little difference between being up 25 or 26. 27, on the other hand, means the best we can do is tie with 3 TDs, 3 2 point conversions and a FG.
Were we still slinging the ball around trying to score? We shouldn't have a problem with them continuing to play either. Running the score up would have been if they had thrown the ball and tried to score after Nussmeier's fumble.
They scored that touchdown at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Their next three drives, they didn't throw a single pass. In fact, they didn't throw a single pass in the entire 4th quarter.
This is not what running up the score looks like, and it's a pretty sad indication of where we are as a society that people are so up in their feelings as to get offended by this.

Y’all are putting wayyyy too much thought into this. If it were reversed we’d all be saying “if you don’t want us to score then stop us”. It wasn’t a personal jab or anything like that. Kirby praised the effort of our players and tipped his hat to BK. It’s not that big a deal. Let’s move on.

Guy’s the defending national champ, on the verge of winning another, and the hottest coach in the country right now. I highly doubt he’s butt hurt by a loss that happened 3/4 year ago.

Conspiracy theory: point spread was 17.5 at kickoff I think. By going for 2 you went up more than a TD (27) to keep it above the spread

up 4 TD's going for 2 is kind of bullshite but it's lsu's job to stop it etc.
when lsu was beating georgia's brains in in 2019 in the SECCG, burrow could have scored more points but the game was over with at that point.
